IT'S A MYSTERY!
The food in Cerise Park is going missing! Now the Pokémon are hungry. Hungry Pokémon are grumpy Pokémon! Pikachu, Riolu, and Raboot want to help Ash and Goh solve the mystery. But can they do it before the grumpy Pokémon start to fight?
Plot
The book follows the plot of Panic in the Park!
Ash and Goh's Pokémon are hungry, leading them to grow angry and start fighting each other. The Trainers are confused since, although they just fed their Pokémon, all the food is gone. They decide to sleep in Cerise Park to catch the Pokémon responsible. They lay out food as bait, and although they try to stay awake to catch the thief, they end up falling asleep. When they wake up, the food has disappeared. The Pokémon start fighting, and Pikachu and Raboot are unable to stop them. Ash calls on his Dragonite to help, but it wants to let the other Pokémon sort out their issues by themselves
Meanwhile, Goh's three Cascoon are trying to evolve. A fireball from the fight heads towards them, and Golurk protects them with its body. The blast causes Golurk's seal to fall off and energy to be released, bringing down rain. Ash and Goh's Pokémon help to return Golurk's seal, but the rain continues and threatens the Cascoon. The Pokémon work together to protect the Cascoon, which evolve into Dustox. The storm clears.
The next day, the Pokémon eat together peacefully. Food pellets fall on Ash and Goh's heads, and they follow a trail of food to a small cave where Skwovet has been stashing the missing food. The Trainers decide to bring extra food for Skwovet.
