In Japan, it was released as the Collection X and Collection Y dual expansions that make up the first expansion block in the Pokémon Card Game XY Era. It is based on Pokémon X and Y, featuring Generation VI Pokémon and the two game Legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal. The English expansion was released on February 5, 2014, while the Japanese expansions were released on December 13, 2013.
