X & Y arc
Santalune Forest was mentioned in Kangaskhan...Kangascan't, where X and his friends were revealed to have slept a night in the forest before arriving in Santalune City, although Shauna complained how wild Pokémon had kept trampling all over her all night, keeping her from sleeping a wink.
Trivia
- Lass Anna's Japanese name, Rica, is a reference to Rica Matsumoto, the Japanese voice actress of Ash in the Pokémon anime, who, like Anna, uses a male Pikachu.
