Barb Barrage (Japanese: どくばりセンボン Thousand Stingers) is a damage-dealing Poison-type move introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It is the signature move of Qwilfish, Hisuian Qwilfish, and Overqwil.
Effect
Generation VIII
Barb Barrage deals damage and has a 30% chance to poison the target. Its power is doubled if the target is affected by a non-volatile status condition.
|
Generation IX
Barb Barrage's PP was decreased to 10. It has a 50% chance of poisoning the target, and its power is doubled if the target is already poisoned.
Other effects
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, a Hisuian Qwilfish that has used Barb Barrage in the strong style at least 20 times can evolve into Overqwil. In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, a Hisuian Qwilfish will evolve into Overqwil simply by leveling up while knowing this move.
