Trivia
- Shauntal is the only member of the Unova Elite Four who does not share a specialty type with that of an Indigo Plateau Elite Four member from Generations II and IV. Instead, she shares her specialty type with an Indigo Plateau Elite Four member from Generations I and III: Agatha.
- Shauntal is also the only member of the Unova Elite Four not to use any Generation III Pokémon in a rematch.
- Her Cofagrigus is the only Pokémon she uses that isn't dual-typed.
- It is also the only Pokémon she uses that does not have a unique type combination.
- While in Cynthia's Villa, she makes a reference to the Distortion World and Giratina.
- Shauntal's Golurk is her only Pokémon that does not know Shadow Ball.
