A Fire Memory in the
anime
In 10,000,000 Reasons to Fight!, Gladion used a Fire Memory on his Silvally to make it a Fire type, allowing it to melt the ice from Lusamine's Absol's Ice Beam that had frozen it in place.
In SM136, Gladion used the Fire Memory again in order to reduce the damage Silvally took from Kiawe's Turtonator's Inferno Overdrive, allowing him to counterattack and win their battle during the Manalo Conference semifinals.
