This is a list of Pokémon in the order dictated by the Diamond and Pearl Battle Pokédex, utilized by the Generation IV cards in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. These numbers are seen on the bottom of the card listed as DPBP#. They were utilized in 6 TCG sets, starting with Diamond & Pearl, and last used in Legends Awakened.

Notes
- Kadabra is technically unnumbered, as he has not been released on a card since before the DPBP was introduced. However, as Abra is #69, and Alakazam is #71, Kadabra is assumed to be #70.
- Eevee's evolutions were reordered.
- Aipom and Ambipom, expected to be numbers 218 and 219, respectively, were moved to #267 and #268. It is unknown why their original position after the Hoppip family was changed. The next family, Sunkern's, occupies numbers 219 and 220. As Aipom received a new evolution and would have required a second slot, MK's hypothesis is that they forgot about Ambipom when numbering the Pokémon.
- Qwilfish, a Pokémon which does not evolve and was expected to be #267, was moved to #218.
- Girafarig, expected to be #259 after Wobbuffet, was moved all the way to #489, after Gastrodon; this is where Ambipom's space would have been had he been unrelated to Aipom.
- Shuckle, expected to be #268 (#267 accommodating Qwilfish's move), was moved to its place.
- Each of Unown's 28 forms are given separate entries, as are Deoxys's 4, Burmy's 3, Wormadam's 3, Shellos's 2, and Gastrodon's 4. Cherrim is only given one slot.
- Rotom's 5 alternate forms, and Giratina's Origine Forme, are not present on the list, as it was finalized before the new forms were revealed. It is likely the system was dropped for this reason. Shaymin and Arceus are absent from the list entirely.
