Some Pokémon are matutinal, which means they appear more frequently in the wild in the morning, or do not appear at all unless it is morning. This applies to Generation II, Generation IV, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl and Generation IX, where time is a major feature; while Generation VII features time-based encounters, it doesn't differentiate morning from daytime encounter-wise.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in that location in the specified game. A white background with colored text means that the Pokémon cannot be found there.

All Pokémon that are matutinal in Scarlet and Violet are also diurnal; while the game makes distinction between morning and day, all of the probability weight values are the same for these two periods.
