This only applies to Generation IX ; while this transitory period between daytime and night was introduced in Generation IV and used for certain other mechanics such as Evolution or location preview , only in Generation IX does this brief period feature a meaningful availability difference from morning and daytime.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in that location in the specified game. A white background with colored text means that the Pokémon cannot be found there.
