Gizmo (Japanese: ヤバシ Yabashi) is a character of the day who appeared in Detective Drizzile!. His full name is Gizmo Bilt (Japanese: ヤバ・ヤバシ Yabashi Yaba).
In animation
Gizmo had his Kecleon infiltrate Cerise Laboratory so that he could delete all the data that Ash and Goh had collected during their adventures. Despite Professor Cerise taking precautions to stop it from happening again, Gizmo was able to find out the codes to unlock the data with the help of Kecleon.
One night, Goh spotted what was going on with the help of his Drizzile and was able to corner Kecleon before Gizmo revealed himself. Kecleon was defeated when Drizzile evolved into Inteleon. Gizmo attempted to flee to Kecleon, only to be stopped by Inteleon's Snipe Shot. When Professor Cerise arrived, Gizmo was excited to see him. Ash and Goh were shocked to see that Gizmo was just a fanboy who had just wanted to get the professor's attention. Upon learning that the data wasn't permanently lost, Professor Cerise gave Gizmo the autograph he had desired.
