Please remember to always sign your comments. You can sign your comments with 4 tildes (~) or clicking the signature stamp (Signature button.png) on the top of the edit box. It should also be noted that once your comment has been marked as unsigned, you cannot replace it with your signature as it will give off the wrong time stamp. Thank you for taking your time to read this message, have a good day. - unsigned comment from Force Fire (talkcontribs)

Again, please sign your comments with four tildes or by clicking the signature button above the edit box. Thank you. - unsigned comment from Force Fire (talkcontribs)

Please provide a link or an image to your source, don't just say it. Show, don't tell.--ForceFire 14:42, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

Not easy as the info came by PM from GummiYummy who is in email contact with her --BigDocFan (talk) 15:04, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

Then ask him for photo evidence. Don't just believe everything he says.--ForceFire 15:41, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

Please don't re-sign and unsigned signature, it will give off the wrong timestamp. Manually typing in the correst timestamp won't do either. So if you're comment has been marked as unsigned, just leave it.--ForceFire 16:25, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

My apologies, I am trying to help out here so sorry for any errors --BigDocFan (talk) 16:31, 14 December 2015 (UTC)

M18 Cast

Did you get permission from Force Fire to post it? Technickal (talk) 17:21, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

Not too sure there Technickal sir, sent him an email the other but unsure, do you have a user account on the forum, perhaps I can PM you it with the cast list--BigDocFan (talk) 19:59, 26 December 2015 (UTC)

I did get an email, you said the screencap was too big. So I sent you another emailing saying to split the screencap in two if it's too big. Haven't gotten your response yet.--ForceFire 03:46, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Don't seem to have received any email from you but then again, i'm not sure how, I should explain I have aspergers syndrome so might not understand things as easily as you but sent you an email with 3 screenshots of the email I got from Theresa, the first having her email address visible--BigDocFan (talk) 11:28, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

You didn't get my email? strange. Anyways, the screenshots are better, you may add the information.--ForceFire 12:50, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

VA sources

Once more, if you are adding English voice actors, you must attest a source, always. Please try not to forget. Thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:14, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

English actor suggestion

If you find the English actor of Sliggoo and Heliolisk, let me know which website to go.--CoolPokéGuy (Talk) 17:32, 16 August 2016 (UTC)

Userspace limits

Hello. I have noticed that you have been editing the User: namespace a lot recently, and have made a total of 4+ userspace edits today. Please do not edit the userspace any more, as the userspace policy limits the amount you can edit your userpage: No more than three edits per day (by UTC), and you must contribute to the mainspace more than you edit your user page(s). This policy was instated to promote people helping out in the mainspace, and also to control strain on our servers. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, after all, so help us out by contributing to some articles before coming back to your personal page(s). The more often you edit in the mainspace, the more you will be allowed to edit your user page(s). Thank you. --Berrenta (talk) 20:14, 20 August 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for finding the English actor for Sliggoo and Goodra. I knew it was Tom Wayland, but nobody didn't believe. And I was having trouble finding a source and contacting him.--CoolPokéGuy (Talk) 12:56, 11 September 2016 (UTC)

You're welcome, I had a feeling it was Tom Wayland as well but thought I would wait until Goodra's return before enquiring with Lisa Ortiz--BigDocFan (talk) 13:06, 11 September 2016 (UTC)

Hello! I noticed you have a list of voice actors in your user page, and while this is not at all a problem, I thought I'd inform you that you can create subpages of your user page for things like this--e.g., User:BigDocFan/List of VAs would be a good place to put a list of voice actors, if you'd prefer not to clutter up your userpage. User subpages, if intended to be put in the mainspace, are also candidates for exemption from the userspace edit limit (though they are only candidates, and you have to get permission from an editorial board member, I believe, for exemption). Just thought I'd let you know in case you didn't! --Felthry (F.K.A. Xolroc) (talk) 18:34, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

I didn't know how to create subpages, thank you so much, I would hate to get in trouble with admin--BigDocFan (talk) 18:35, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
Hey, that's fine. You're not in any trouble now--just remember those subpages count towards your three-edit limit too unless you talk to an editorial board member and get an exemption! --Felthry (F.K.A. Xolroc) (talk) 18:54, 18 January 2017 (UTC)

Link templates

I've seen you using link templates before, so I think you already know what they are. I just wanted to remind you to make use of them when appropriate (Dragonite instead of Dragonite), and to let you know about templates that you might not be aware of: Ash for linking directly to Ash Ketchum, MTR for linking directly to Meowth (Team Rocket) (no TR template needed!), and an for linking to character pages with the (anime) suffix. Thanks!--Cold (talk) 15:45, 3 March 2017 (UTC)

Guess there are some areas that I am still learning.--BigDocFan (talk) 17:02, 3 March 2017 (UTC)
Attention. This a another reminder to use link templates when appropriate. Ataro (talk) 21:53, 30 June 2017 (UTC)

For example, you don't use commas when they would be needed, you tend to make quite a lot of grammatical errors, and overall, the synopsis you write tend to be in pretty rough English. You should ALWAYS use the preview button to make sure you don't do any mistakes you could avoid. For example, earlier today you wrote that Gladion kept his Umbreon inside an Ultra Ball, even thought its Lycanroc seen coming out of the ball. Also, your edit at Continental Crush felt rushed and incomplete. Don't start making edits you know you can't do properly or fully. PS. I may be rambling a bit here, the quality of your edits has just gotten on my nerves multiple times. But I guess you're still just learning. Let's hope you'll get better as time goes on. Hopefully... --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:15, 18 May 2017 (UTC)

I do apologize about my not so good edits, when it comes to new episodes, I start from looking at pics posted on Serebii which don't always tell a clear story, doesn't help that I have aspergers when it comes to grammar--BigDocFan (talk) 13:17, 18 May 2017 (UTC)
I'm an Asperger too, but I've learned to do my edits more carefully and properly. I once did so many edits to same pages in a short time that I was on a forced preview for several years. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:18, 18 May 2017 (UTC)

Please don't create pages of characters that have not debuted yet, even if you aren't around to create them. That is not a good enough reason. Playerking95 (talk) 08:03, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Notability requirements

Please familiarize yourself with the notability requirements. A Pokémon needs to do more than just appear twice to be noted, it must have some sort of impact on the plot. The Garden Pokémon had no impact on the plot, they just appeared. Thank you.--ForceFire 00:07, 17 June 2017 (UTC)

Who voiced Chesnaught in M19?

Hi BigDoc, I was making a list of characters/actors for M19 and I noticed that you put both Suzy Myers and Billy Bob Thompson as Chesnaught. Did they both voice Chesnaught, or was this a mistake?

Probably a mistake but strangely the cast list for Suzy Myers and Billy Bob Thompson both have Chesnaught, I'm guessing Suzy Myers as she voices Chespin.--BigDocFan (talk) 20:42, 18 July 2017 (UTC)

Episode airing times

I noticed that you unmasked the major events that happened in SM035 before the episode finished airing. As a general rules, things that happen during the initial airings don't get changed until after the whole episode has finished. Playerking95 (talk) 16:49, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

I apologize, having watched an episode air live on youtube I didn't realize so jumped the gun.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:51, 27 July 2017 (UTC)

Stolen content

You have previously been warned on the Bulbagarden Archives about stealing images from other fan sites, but do note that Bulbapedia does not tolerate the stealing of content from other fan sites in any form, including but not limited to images and plot summaries. Copying information from other fan sites is called plagiarism. Taking another fan site's plot summary is considered plagiarism. Taking another fan site's plot summary and switching up a few words here and there is still considered plagiarism. If you want to write up a plot summary, it must be done from scratch and in your own words. Just like we don't want other fan sites to steal our content, we don't want our users to be stealing other fan sites' content. Please be aware and respectful of our policies so that a similar case does not arise. Thank you. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 16:12, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

Noted and taken as a final warning, last thing I want is to be blocked from a brilliant wiki like Bulbapedia.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:14, 8 August 2017 (UTC)

Could you please refrain from making edits that relate to an episode before it finishes. Playerking95 (talk) 10:34, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Need to try and contain my excitement, able to watch episodes as they air live on youtube and am keen to contribute more, I'll be more careful in future.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:28, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
That's alright, I did something similarly with SM033, where I forgot about the rule. I was so happy that Lana's Popplio finally got a new move. I guess quite a few of us need to contain our excitement. Also, when you add moves in the future, could you also add the description, otherwise it seems kind of lacklustre, you know what I mean? Playerking95 (talk) 16:35, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
Think I leave the new moves to the experts, providing descriptions without directly copying and pasting from others isn't easy.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:39, 10 August 2017 (UTC)

Can you read what I sent you on Serebii Forums? It's a private message. Raichu65 (talk) 14:18, 11 August 2017 (UTC)

Type: Null

Maybe you didn't notice but I've had a page for Gladion's Type: Null in the works for months now.--Rahl (talk) 13:17, 12 August 2017 (UTC)

For some reason when I do a check, it doesn't show--BigDocFan (talk) 17:32, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
I've had that problem as well. I'm not sure why results aren't showing up.--Rahl (talk) 18:15, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
It's an unintentional consequence of Bulbagarden's transfer to https. According to Talk:Main Page#What links here, the staff are aware and working on getting it fixed. Pumpkinking0192 (talk) 18:45, 12 August 2017 (UTC)

We also don't create character pages in advance for characters of the day, even if it's on a user page. Just create it after SM040 airs. Playerking95 (talk) 15:18, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

My bad, might as well keep for now and move it when it does air now I've created it.--BigDocFan (talk) 15:19, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
User pages are usually create by people who wish for them to be main spaced or who think they are important enough to get a page under a user, so creating one for a character who we know nothing about or if the character will appear again is kind of weird. Do you get what I mean? Playerking95 (talk) 15:24, 23 August 2017 (UTC)
I do so will remember for future reference--BigDocFan (talk) 15:25, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

Character pages

Hey. Please don't create pages for anime characters unless you have some info to add. This is really too barebones. Redlinks aren't necessarily a bad thing. It's better to have a redlink than a page that contains almost nothing. ☼ BlazingFist ☼ 12:50, 8 September 2017 (UTC)

Episode Plots

The plot you wrote are awesome. Sometimes however, the sentence you wrote are too long and difficult to read. Just like when you read, too long of a sentence takes the breath out of you. "When", "As", "Because" are some phrases you often use to join these sentences but making them too long. If I make sense. XD

An example would be "Inside the school grounds, Ash asks Rotom what kind of Pokémon live on Akala Island but as Rotom does a search, he is hit by a Tauros which sends him flying as Charizard lands in front of Tauros to stop him as its trainer and Kiawe arrive with Kiawe telling Charizard to keep holding on as his classmates look on as Ash lands on the ground."

You can instead write it as "Inside the school grounds, Ash asks Rotom what kind of Pokémon live on Akala Island (period) As Rotom does a search, he is hit by a Tauros which sends him flying (period) As Charizard lands in front of Tauros to stop him, its Trainer and Kiawe arrive (period) Kiawe tells Charizard to keep holding on as his classmates look on as Ash lands on the ground (period)"

This is so much more comfortable to read. Haha, you can what I mean? — Ruixiang95 11:29, 19 September 2017 (UTC)

And here was me worrying that the sentences I was right were too short. Noted for future reference.--BigDocFan (talk) 14:19, 19 September 2017 (UTC)
Agreed. The sentences are overly long and can benefit from being split off into multiple sentences. Also, I think I might've seen some grammatical errors along the way, but I cannot recall any specific examples. Whatever the case, I gave up trying to improve the plot of SM030 and tagged it, along with other episodes' plot sections you had a significant amount of contributions to, with a cleanup template. Hopefully you and/or other users can resume where I left off. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:49, 20 September 2017 (UTC)

A Theory on Clemont's Heliolisk's voice

Hey BigDoc, I have something I want to share with you, and It's about Clemont's Heliolisk. We now it was voiced by Ryan William Downey, but I think it previous might have been voiced by Tom Wayland. On your page for him, it mentions Ryan joined the series during season 18, which makes sense as all his characters appeared in season 18 or after that, EXCEPT Clemont's Heliolisk (who first appeared in season 17). And if it was someone else, there would be no reason to recast them (the only other actor who left in season 18 was Jennifer Forziati-DaCosta). Super10ZX (talk) 17:26, 7 October 2017 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, S18 was Downey's debut unless I'm mistaken, Tom Wayland could have voiced Heliolisk before he was sacked but sadly this can't be confirmed.--BigDocFan (talk) 22:43, 6 November 2017 (UTC)

Preview button

Please make sure to use the preview button, even when adding multiple images to a section. I'm sure you're excited to back on the wiki again, but this shouldn't take 10 edits. --Abcboy (talk) 11:37, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

I can only apologize Sir, as you say I'm excited to be back on Bulbapedia, I do hope the images are satisfactory.--BigDocFan (talk) 11:39, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
Please use that preview button. I had to resize and re-position the new photos you added to the articles of Ash's traveling companions to make sure they don't interfere with other photos. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 23:22, 5 January 2018 (UTC)

Again. Use the preview button. If you're going over a large page or planning to touch multiple sections, use "edit this page" and do everything together. Tiddlywinks (talk) 14:24, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

Your new page

Hey BigDoc. So I see you are making your own Voice Actor predictions page. I'm perfectly okay with this, it will be nice to see another persons predictions! It wasn't even my original idea in the first place, it was based off pages other people made, but haven't changed in a long time. Super10ZX (talk) 16:16, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

Thanks, hope you continue with your own page, will be nice to see how our predictions compare.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:17, 9 January 2018 (UTC)

Consecutive edits

I just need to remind you that you shouldn't be doing 9 or so consecutive edits with a short period of time. Playerking95 (talk) 15:26, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

Pre-airing edits

Hi. I want to let you know, I've been asking people not to hide information about an episode on any page except the episode page before it airs. So that means refraining from your edit here adding hidden templates for Nanu's Pokemon that were expected for SM073/74. That hidden info has just now resulted in a minor edit war, and that's a pattern that has happened several times previously as well. As far as I'm concerned, that all adds up to more of a hassle than it's otherwise worth. It'll be much cleaner if people just add the info fully and with much less room for argument once the episode airs.

So, please confine pre-airing edits of hidden information to an episode's page. Thank you. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:44, 26 April 2018 (UTC)

I understand and started removing some of the edits but have made a copy of them to be posted when the episode airs.--BigDocFan (talk) 15:45, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
I just noticed a bit of that. I appreciate it, thanks. Tiddlywinks (talk) 15:49, 26 April 2018 (UTC)
You're welcome, I enjoy contributing to Bulbapedia and would hate to be removed from it so I prefer to work with admin to avoid any conflict and accept anything wrong that I did.--BigDocFan (talk) 15:51, 26 April 2018 (UTC)

Where's the source?

Where's the source for the latest titles? Playerking95 (talk)

No idea, saw the titles added to other pages so just copied them over. Just checked the forums, Apple TV Show/Episode Universal Search--BigDocFan (talk) 11:41, 29 April 2018 (UTC)

Episode titles

A little heads-up, please remember to italicize episode titles and provide links to the articles. You seemed to know what you were doing before so I don't know why I had to apply those corrections this time. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:26, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

My bad, thought as they were listed above, I didn't have to--BigDocFan (talk) 20:28, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
It seems to be a given given all the other articles I've seen and read. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:29, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

Main anime images

If you are going to replace an anime image on a species article, please replace it with an image that shows the Pokémon's full body and the Pokémon being the focus of the image. An image of the Pokémon in a distance is not going to cut it. Thank you.--ForceFire 15:25, 9 June 2018 (UTC)

Again, the main images must be a full body shot, not just a shot of its head or whatnot. Full body, and center of the image. Also, you don't need to literally update the images to the most recent appearance, which is what I feel you are doing. Unless there's a centered, full body shot in a recent episode, it does not need to be updated.--ForceFire 05:35, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Where are the Chansey and Raichu in SM081? Playerking95 (talk) 11:43, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

radek.tadajewski.7 from the forums spotted them in the crowd and asked me to add them.--BigDocFan (talk) 11:46, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
I've looked through every crowd shot and I can only see a Blissey and no Chansey or Raichu. Could the user provide an image? Playerking95 (talk) 11:53, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
They can be seen in the preview of this episode, so does the episode itself. His words, not mine.--BigDocFan (talk) 12:02, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
You should go and verify this yourself BigDocFan, rather than believing everything one user says.--ForceFire 13:13, 5 July 2018 (UTC)
Nah, they're there. Playerking95 (talk) 13:15, 5 July 2018 (UTC)

Where did you see the Snubbull in the flashback? I can't see it anywhere. Playerking95 (talk) 16:56, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

It is mentioned in this review here, (talk) 16:58, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

Voice actor articles

Next time you decide to create a VA article or move a userspace page about a VA, you need to use this as a template. Keep this in mind for next time. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:41, 13 August 2018 (UTC)

Please do not disregard this next time you choose to create a new VA article. It's highly important that every VA article follows this basic format. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 06:20, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
I didn't, I checked through it and it all looked fine to me, but then again, I'm no expert.--BigDocFan (talk) 07:28, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
I told you before, please don't forget this whenever you're creating a VA article. Slow it down a little. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 08:44, 4 October 2018 (UTC)
Drat, was using Eddy Lee's page to layout the page but forgot to add the bottom bit, my bad.--BigDocFan (talk) 08:48, 4 October 2018 (UTC)

Kenyu Horiuchi

Could you undo your latest edit to that page. As I said in another edit summary, the official source only mentions Samson. Here: Playerking95 (talk) 14:29, 5 September 2018 (UTC)

Permission to mainspace

GrammarFreak is not a staff member, you shouldn't be asking him if a userpage can be mainspaced. You should be asking anyone on the Staff list, preferably the head of anime abcboy. Thank you.--ForceFire 12:21, 16 September 2018 (UTC)

My bad, he has been a help with previous pages so was asking for his help to get it ready.--BigDocFan (talk) 12:24, 16 September 2018 (UTC)

VA articles

Could you hold back on creating anymore VA articles, or at least make them in your userspace instead? Most of your recent articles are of questionable notability. Kenta Kamakari may have voiced a recurring character for more than one episode, but really, DJ Leo is only important to one of those episodes he appeared in, so in essence he only "appeared" (read: did something of note) once. Thank you.--ForceFire 15:06, 18 September 2018 (UTC)

Will do--BigDocFan (talk) 15:51, 18 September 2018 (UTC)

Ryota Iwasaki

Ryota Iwasaki is definitely not going to cut it as a notable VA to make an article on. Of all the characters he voices, Mr. Elec is the most notable but he only appeared in one episode. I highly recommend going to Bulbapedia:Project VA for further reference. Keep the userspace article, though; Mr. Elec might reappear in the future. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 03:30, 20 September 2018 (UTC)

As a reply, I am not TvRage, or whoever that is. Just to clarify. (I'm surprised my username wasn't claimed by now.) -Mystical (talk) 7:05, 21 September 2018 (EST)

I noticed you're the one who uploaded the "Sharpedo in the anime" image. It is a small detail, but you chose one where its design was wrongly drawn (see the pectoral fin? It's in a dark cyanish color, it should be white). Could you, please, find an appropriate image? ExLight (talk) 02:21, 27 September 2018 (UTC)

EDIT: Nevermind, it was actually Playerking95. If you have a better image it would be great tho. ExLight (talk) 16:52, 30 September 2018 (UTC)
Easy mistake, I uploaded the image for one of my pages, Playerking95 obviously liked it and used it for the page.--BigDocFan (talk) 16:54, 30 September 2018 (UTC)

Using MAL filmographies

I understand you're making sure the filmographies don't look like the ones from MyAnimeList before your userspace VA articles are mainspaced. But I still suggest not completely using filmographies from MyAnimeList, for that could still constitute a copyright violation. Be more selective, if needs be. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:43, 28 October 2018 (UTC)

Understood, guess imdb can be used as well.--BigDocFan (talk) 18:56, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
Of course. But I will warn that IMDb can be easily edited by anyone, so some of the filmographies might not be too accurate. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 18:57, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
Decided to delete most of the credits, last thing I want is compromising myself and Bulbapedia on copyright grounds. Do the credits listed look OK as they are?--BigDocFan (talk) 19:55, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
Yeah, that looks good. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:11, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
Thanks, hopefully Martha Harms will be worthy of mainspacing when she gets more confirmed roles. I suspect that among them are Officer Jenny which at present is to be confirmed.--BigDocFan (talk) 20:25, 28 October 2018 (UTC)
We'll see. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:17, 28 October 2018 (UTC)

Are you still planning on uploading anime evolution images? Seabiscuit2020 (talk) 02:34, 04 November 2018 (UTC)

No, I received a message from Chosen saying The images you've been uploading for use in your User: space conflict with our policy against personal images. Please ensure that your uploads are content that are relevant to the mainspace. Probably best I avoid doing this with evolution images--BigDocFan (talk) 08:03, 4 November 2018 (UTC)

Archives talk page

Why haven't you replied to the messages I've left on your Bulbagarden Archives talk page? Also, something about the way you name your pictures: please try not to use big capital letters when it's not necessary. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:57, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Hey! I see that you are constantly editing and improving some of my userpages that I hope get good enough to be mainspaced one day. So thank you for all your help, thanks for helping improve those articles. (Rioxイブイ 23:59, 8 November 2018 (UTC))

You're welcome, I enjoy helping fellow members as it help create friendships.--BigDocFan (talk) 08:46, 9 November 2018 (UTC)

Could you possibly get an image of the Braviary that were shown in a flashback being released back into the wild to replace the one for the Braviary that are in the "Previously resided in" section, because the one that's shown is the one that's currently there. Playerking95 (talk) 14:59, 11 November 2018 (UTC)

Done--BigDocFan (talk) 15:06, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
Cheers. Playerking95 (talk) 15:35, 11 November 2018 (UTC)

If you go to your own page User:PKMN_Trainer_Ryan, click edit this page, type somewhere [[, User:PKMN Trainer Ryan and the userpage name, take this for example Hala's Crabominable, hope it makes sense. The ending is what you want displayed.--BigDocFan (talk) 18:40, 4 January 2019 (UTC)

Feint Attack

Not to sound to mean and I know you like editing, as we all do, but please check before deleting a move and calling it something else. If a sub says it's something else, please listen to see if it what they say it is. In this case, they made a mistake. It is not Fake Out. No where was "neko" said during the attack command, but "shiuchi" was. If you mess up like this, it hinders the site by displaying wrong information. Playerking95 (talk) 18:06, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

Pirated content

Please do not post links to illegal content on Bulbapedia. If you really wish to link an episode, there are official sites, like Hulu which at least has early seasons. Tiddlywinks (talk) 18:55, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

I do sincerely apologize for that sir, as it turns out, the info I provided was incorrect--BigDocFan (talk) 19:01, 6 January 2019 (UTC)

Lisa Ortiz

I'll try. But can you at least send me a list of people she portrayed, please? Seabiscuit2020 (talk) 00:44, 15 February, 2019 (UTC)

There appears to have been a slight misunderstanding, thanks anyway but GrammarFreak01 added the voice actors--BigDocFan (talk) 09:02, 15 February 2019 (UTC)

How did you get Lisa Ortiz's contact information, and could you ask her if she knows the Japanese cast? PKMN Trainer Ryan (talk) 13:45, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

I messaged her on Facebook not long after she became voice director, explained that Theresa Buchheister had previously sent me cast lists and asked if she would do the same to which she agreed and gave me her email address. I'll check with her about the Japanese cast--BigDocFan (talk) 13:46, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

Ryota Iwasaki

Have you checked with an admin to see if your Ryota Iwasaki page can be main-spaced yet? He's voiced almost 10 characters in Sun and Moon. Playerking95 (talk) 15:30, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

I'll check, trouble is none of his characters have been notable apart from Mr. Electric so he might not be notable enough--BigDocFan (talk) 15:34, 16 February 2019 (UTC)

Annice Moriarty

hello I am currently working on fixing a mistake that has been made in regards to the Ugandan-American voice actress Annice Moriarty, a woman that some in the anime communities have mistaken for a similar sounding voice actress named Kether Donohue I'm wondering if you can help me migrate the page over to Annice Moriarty as they are not the same person at all. I've looked all over the internet, and I am unable to find any sources at all, even if she was not my sister. Can I ask for help in correcting this mistake? We actually did a parody of this on a youtube channel we created called Kether Ketchup, which was meant to make fun of the internet's mistake about Annie. I would deeply appreciate help in fixing this error, and would like to know what sources people claim to have so we can address them. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 04:20, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

No probs, I've created pages myself not realizing someone has already made one on their userpage.--BigDocFan (talk) 08:38, 24 March 2019 (UTC)

Kether Donohue and Annice Moriarty

Hello I am going to make some edits based purely on two things:

 • The knowledge that Annice Moriarty is most definitely not Kether Donohue, and
 • The episode credits.

We know that both Donohue and Moriarty voice Lila, that was what Tom Wayland said. In fact it was Lila that was the source of the belief that Donohue and MOriarty were the same person, due to them both being credited and them both voicing the same character, albeit during different stages in her life. I will not add any biographic info on Ann. here's an easy way to gage my edits: If Kether Donohue's name appears in the episode, then we can credit her. If Annice Moriarty's name is there, then we must put Annice Moriarty.

I also want to remind you of something: I got 3 names for you:

 • Allyson Johnson (Agatha)
 • Kathleen Delaney (Rouge the Bat)
 • Caren Manuel (previously believed to have voiced both Agatha and Rough due to her similar voice to Johnson and Delaney)

Remember that? That's the other reason why you have to be careful with pseudonyms. thanks. So my edits are based on the credits and what Wayland had actually said. thanks African Vulture (talk) 21:04, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

I'm not getting involved with this, if admin approves it, then it is OK with me--BigDocFan (talk) 21:07, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

I don't know who is an admin. FF believes that MOriarty is a pseudony mdespite no proof existing, so I need you to be partly envolved due to your experience with voice actors.

Can you at least weigh in on the mistaken pseudonyms like the Agatha one? African Vulture (talk) 21:32, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Force Fire is an admin. BigDocFan isn't. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:34, 31 March 2019 (UTC)
I strongly recommend you look at your talk page African Vulture, Candice has been protected as a result of your actions--BigDocFan (talk) 21:37, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Perhaps you guys do need to examine where it came from, that Annice Moriarty was Kether Donohue. It appears all your guys's efforts are punishing me, rather than maybe figuring out where this belief came from, like I am. Yes it was uncontested for ages, so was Kathleen Delaney/Allyson Johnson/Caren Manuel. I have been asking the same question over and over and over again with no answer, and it is quite frustrating. Where did you get the information from that Kether Donohue was Annice Moriarty? I'm disregarding the fact that she is my sister, because I can't use that for sources. However I can challenge Bulbapedia, and I am. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 22:07, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Okay, if the VA is your sister, then the more I cannot trust your information. There's this cloud of bias and unreliability hanging over your statement. This is why it's important for admins to make the final word. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:09, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

This doesn't mean that examination isn't in order. African Vulture (talk) 22:18, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Yes, which is why I said the admins need to examine it. That way, they can give the final word. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:19, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

But which admins should I talk to. Notice how with the Kappa Mikey thing on Kether Donohue I basically forced force fire to provide a source? I'm asking just for the same. If I see a source, then I examine it and decide to either give u por continue. I'm also trying to prevent another Caren Manuel thing too. Rosebr10, who helped reveal that isn't active anymore. African Vulture (talk) 22:23, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Force Fire and Abcboy are the only admins I know. And I don't know who you're talking about anymore. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:25, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

I will talk to them. To basically sum it up quickly, as I have to go for a bit, Agatha used to list Caren Manuel as her english VA. For Sonic, Manuel was credit for Rouge in 4kids. Later, it turned out that Kathleen Delaney did Rouge and Allyson Johnson did Agatha. that's the lowdown on that. I'll talk to the admins in a bit, I have to eat and I'm going bowling for a bit. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 22:30, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Okay. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:37, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Update, I posted to Abcboy's page. On it I mentioned two other examples of long-held beliefs on Bulbapedia and other websites that got destroyed. Megan Hollingshead vs. Lee Quick (Officer Jenny]], and Megan Hollingshead vs. Emily Niebo (computer from Pokemon 2000). Both rolls (Officer Jenny and the palice computer) were credited both on and off Bulbapedia to Hollingshead, until it turned out (just like with Agatha and Rouge the Bat), that the long-held credit was incorrect. So be careful with pseudonyms if they are indeed pseudonyms, because it may turn out not to be a pseudonym after all. There has to be a way not just for administrators to identify where pseudonym information comes from, but also ordinary editors and readers, so they can say, "Ok, I know where they got that." I will also caution you about IMDB, Wikipedia doesn't like it, and when it comes to pseudonyms, there's no way to check where it gets the info from. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 01:19, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

pseudonym identifications

Hello The Annice Moriarty thing brings to light the issue of verification of pseudonyms. Fore example, nobody has identified where it is they got the idea that Annice Moriarty was a pseudonym of New York-born Caucasian voice actress Kether Donohue. Even though no source has been given for even the IMDB entries, it is still widely believed. However, nothing in the wayback machine of Kether's website shows anything.

What steps should Bulbapedia and other websites do to verify VA pseudonyms, in order to prevent cases like the Annice Moriarty/Kether Donohue or the Caren Manuel/Allyson Johnson/Kathleen Delaney incidents? I would like to see some concreet ideas in verifying tha tpseudonyms are true, rather than false.

E.G. if somebody claims "Kether Donohue did this roll under Annice Moriarty!", then they should have to prove that Kether Donohue used Annice Moriarty as a pseudonym. It shouldn't be a challenger like me saying "where's the proof?" having the burden of proof on them, as we only want to prevent potential mistakes. Let's say a pseudonym is true, E.G. John Smith uses David Jones as a pseudonym. How would we verify that John Smith and David Jones are the same person? What has been done to me would be the person coming along and saying, "hey, where did you get that John Smith and David Jones are the same person?" and Bulbapedia responding, "you better prove that David Jones is not John Smith or else consequences." In other words, we should assume that David Jones and John Smith are different people until a good source is able to be shown that says for sure that John Smith used David Jones.

How will we do this to prevent more Annice Moriartys or Caren Manuels? African Vulture (talk) 00:20, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

This is something that is best left up to admin, not me. I'm trying not to get involved but if I was you, I would speak to Force Fire (talk · contribs) about it, post on his talk page and await a response before doing anything.--BigDocFan (talk) 08:05, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Remember, I am not talking specifically about the Annice Moriarty thing, rather about pseudonym verification in general. African Vulture (talk) 12:31, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

I have experience dealing with voice actor pages, nothing about pseudonym's I admit but I always wait for admin to approve any information I have before adding it.--BigDocFan (talk) 13:16, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Ok, but then the admin has to identify a source. and I have contacted Force Fire about a few things and either he hasn't seen them or is ignoring them. I don't know and I won't say either way. Hence why I hesitate to contact him again. I think we should identify a source for the specific claim about Annice Moriarty being Kether Donohue as I'm not the only one who brought this up on the internet. You have to be able to tell people where you get information from no matter how believable it is. We can use the Annice Moriarty case as an example to go by for future VA info such as pseudonyms. I also wish to remind you of the Megan Hollingshead thing, where people for the longest time thought she voiced Officer Jenny. Remember that? I did research into that and Lee Quick wasn't credited. That's another reason to once in a while go back and double check things, even if you feel there's no need to, and even if it is uncontested for a while. You never know, it may turn out to be unexpectedly incorrect, just like with Ann and just like with Megan Hollingshead. African Vulture (talk) 13:34, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

All I can say is wait for admin to respond, last time you acted before waiting, the page was protected. If you think Force Fire is ignoring you, maybe confer with other admin about it--BigDocFan (talk) 13:38, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

I don't feel that FF is ignorning me, but I feel he just isn't seeing what I write. I like to view it that way so it's not so harsh. I mean being an admin is likely a busy thing. That said, should pseudonyms come up again, please have both you and an admin discuss where it came from. I suggest if you find pseudonyms, question them and confirm them. You add lots of awesome stuff about voice actors, and I am in love with your voice actor predictions page, it'sreally cool. So please, even if you don't comment on the Annice Moriarty case, it can be used as an example of why pseudonyms need verification. The proof has to be viewable for Bulbapedia's readers, so we can say, "ok you got it from here." I used to get flack on Wikipedia for adding unsourced material so I only ask that everybody else be held to the same standards as me. thanks. African Vulture (talk) 16:45, 11 April 2019 (UTC)

Masters animated trailer

Here's an idea. Since the trailer for Pokémon Masters came out, how's about we make a page for it like we did with Black 2 and White 2 and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? That way we can help promote the game. Seabiscuit2020 (talk) 19:29 27 June 2019 (UTC)

Seconded. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:15, 27 June 2019 (UTC)

Sorry for the lack of response, had a business trip yesterday and today so couldn't access Bulbapedia until my return. I haven't a clue what's been going on so I'll leave it to you to sort out.--BigDocFan (talk) 21:55, 27 June 2019 (UTC)
I've created a userspace article on that trailer. Right now, I've copy-and-pasted the entire Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Animated Trailer article so it can serve as a guideline on how to construct the article, and I plan to begin the real work later today. But if you so wish, you're free to help me out on that userspace article in any way you can. Your assistance would be very much appreciated. :) GrammarFreak01 (talk) 02:53, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

Lipica Shah as Officer Jenny

Hey! I would like to know in which episodes, specifically, Lipica Shah voiced Officer Jenny like she says, because the latter article lists Emily Jenness as being her VA from BW006 to BW138. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:09, 2 July 2019 (UTC)

Have tweeted Lipica and am awaiting a response, I get the feeling that Bulbapedia might have been mistaken when listing Emily as voicing Jenny.--BigDocFan (talk) 21:12, 2 July 2019 (UTC)
Okay. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:13, 2 July 2019 (UTC) (talk) 06:30, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Oh, okay. So that means Emily Jenness didn't voice the BW Officer Jenny? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 15:48, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
It seems that way, I have tweeted her to verify if this is the case--BigDocFan (talk) 15:49, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Since the tweet was deleted, it can be suspected that he wasn't meant to tweet that before the episode got aired. So as to play it safe, I have reverted your edits.--ForceFire 05:24, 26 July 2019 (UTC)

Fair enough, will it be safe to add when the episode airs or should I wait for reconfirmation?--BigDocFan (talk) 06:54, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
It can be re-added once the episode airs.--ForceFire 06:58, 26 July 2019 (UTC)

Copying-and-pasting material

You really need to be careful when you're copying-and-pasting material. I notice you just copy-and-paste and then save without tweaking the pasted material so it could also accommodate other people's edits that were already being shown before you made the edits. I had to painstakingly fix everything you did so then it could match up to the standards that were in place before your edits. It's something I've had to do commonly in both mainspace and userspace articles. Just be sure to use the preview button and make sure nothing looks awkward before proceeding, please. Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 09:54, 28 July 2019 (UTC)

Oh dear, I didn't realize it was that bad.--BigDocFan (talk) 09:55, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
Well, it was. Next time you copy-and-paste something, don't click the save button right away. Double-check with the preview button. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 09:56, 28 July 2019 (UTC)
Noted for future reference, I'm really sorry about that--BigDocFan (talk) 10:02, 28 July 2019 (UTC)

Don't suppose you have access to the new episode template so I can fill it in? Not familiar with adding new episodes and the last time we had something like this, Finnish put that up and it was eventually added--BigDocFan (talk) 09:27, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
No, I don't. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 09:27, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
Episode is not capitalized in the template. The first parameter should be the episode number, not the date.--ForceFire 09:42, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Episode isn't capitalized (so "New episode").--ForceFire 09:50, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Tobias' Latios' Voice

Hey. I need some help. It says Tobias' Latios was voiced by Michele Knotz. But it's not Michele. I've listened to both dubs of the episode and they're both the same voices. But unfortunately I need more "documented proof"... If you can help me get in contact with Knotz that would be great. - unsigned comment from Marvelfan2011 (talkcontribs)

Status episode

Excuse me, BigDocFan. I have a problem. Ever since SM117 came out in the dub, I was able to watch it. Then when Team Rocket showed up and stolen Sandy, Meltan and Shaymin and got out soon after, Shaymin used Aromatherapy to heal Sandy in that episode, but even though nobody said it, it was revealed in closed captions. Similar to Kiawe's Marowak's moves. I talked to Force Fire about this, but no luck, even though I was just making a point. And I always have proof about the attacks and never give out wrong info. So I dunno what I should do.--CoolPokéGuy (Talk) 16:11, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

Whilst I do agree with you that captions confirm the move being used earlier, Force Fire as admin gets final say in the matter. Given that Finnish was given a one week ban today as a result, I don't really want to get involved--BigDocFan (talk) 16:22, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
Ok. I understand. Well, I don’t want this to have an edit war. There has to be another way.--CoolPokéGuy (Talk) 16:41, 21 August 2019 (UTC)

New sandbox articles

Hey! I've got sandbox articles for Lysandre (anime) and Viola's Vivillon under construction. If you'd like to pitch out, you're free to. :) GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:08, 26 August 2019 (UTC)

Good idea creating the articles, I'll be honest and say Lysandre (anime) seems more worthy of his own page. Lysandre's character page certainly needs filling in, I'll think of things to put.--BigDocFan (talk) 19:12, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
Okay. Do you have any idea what the notability requirements are for an individual Pokémon page like the one I'm planning for Viola's Vivillon? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:14, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
I'm not 100% sure but when I asked Force Fire about Guzma's Golisopod and Scizor, he said All the pair has done is battle, so they're not notable. You might want to check with Force Fire--BigDocFan (talk) 19:16, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
Okay. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:16, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
What you should be doing first of all is check to see if it meets the notability requirements. If you are still unsure, then go to a staff member.--ForceFire 05:01, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

SM122/24 WTP narration request

Could you please add the people who narrated SM122 WTP dub. It has to be the people who were the main focus. - unsigned comment from PokéSean (talkcontribs)

It is possible Matori and the trio narrated them because they were the main focus. Could you also add who narrated SM124? - unsigned comment from PokéSean (talkcontribs)
Ash and his classmates are the ones who read it, we agreed in the forums that if it is just them, they aren't notable to be added--BigDocFan (talk) 07:39, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
It is only a coincidence, assumption, and/or speculation but of course SM124 had to be narrated be the main focus and the normal gang is the main focus so I don't expect that. But SM122 was focused on Team Rocket. Name me another SM episode narrated by the main cast even though they were not the main focus. Also, why is Ash narrating SM083 in his shrunken voice notable? - unsigned comment from PokéSean (talkcontribs)

If you're talking about roles in the Pokémon anime itself, the 10-plus rule would apply only if all the characters that are being voiced are characters of the day. If the VA in question is voicing a main character, then all other rules are thrown out of the window and the VA is unanimously notable. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 12:25, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Oh, I see. Singaporean (talk) 12:29, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Okay. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 12:30, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
Maybe wait until the new series airs to confirm he voices Gou in the anime before checking with admin if it can be mainspaced--BigDocFan (talk) 12:37, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
I think it's been confirmed that Yamashita is voicing Gou. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 19:58, 29 September 2019 (UTC)

Copying-and-pasting material again

Hey! Once again, you need to use the preview button after copying-and-pasting material on articles. You accidentally turned the "Pokémon" section into a subsection while editing your userspace article, and this is something that I had to fix. Please, do not forget to use the preview button next time. Everyone else cannot be trusted to fix simple mistakes such as these, alright? Thank you. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:38, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

Facepalm, sorry Grammar--BigDocFan (talk) 20:40, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
Well, be more careful next time. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:44, 4 October 2019 (UTC)
Also, I see you improperly linked Full Battle. Be careful of using redirect links, okay? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 20:45, 4 October 2019 (UTC)

I'm really sorry, BigDocFan. I had to update the evolution page for Sun and Moon. I just couldn't resist being incomplete. I just wanted to keep it updated so people can see how the anime prospered. Seabiscuit2020 (talk) 20:32, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

Decided to delete the page, thought I'd already done it.--BigDocFan (talk) 20:40, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

H.D. Quinn vs. Tyler Bunch

Hello BDF. I may have figured out who H.D. Quinn is, however I'm going to need help from you or somebody who does have twitter. I believe Quinn to be actor Tyler Bunch, who is a member of Voices for Fosters. I get this from the fact that all voice actors on VOF are in Pokemon, and the similar voices. Now before you do anything else please tweet Tyler (@tyler_bunch) and ask him if he works on Pokemon, then if he voices some of the characters in Pokemon that H.D. quinn voices. I'd say the best way to do it is to ask about the characters themselves and if he confirms, then ask if he uses H.D. quinn, this way we can make sure we're talking to a Pokemon VA. Can you or somebody with a twitter help me please? African Vulture (talk) 19:13, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

Curious as I am to see if this is true, voice actors aren't willing to reveal if they're credited under a different name. There's some sort of law regarding actors credits. Because of this, I am reluctant to ask--BigDocFan (talk) 19:19, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

That's why I'm suggesting to ask if he voices the characters rather than asking if he's H.D. Quinn. I want to avoid mistakes like what happened with my sister vs. Kether Donohue. African Vulture (talk) 19:22, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

Go's scyther

I made some additions to the text of your page for Scyther (is it okay for you?). As it is your job, I thought it best to ask for your permission.--Hilaru Wazana (talk) 15:38, 2 February 2020 (UTC)

Pokémon Masters cast

Hey! Since we have an entire VA cast for Pokémon Masters but not an entire section dedicated to it in the main article, I'm pleased to let you know I have a sandbox article dealing with just that. Edit it however you see fit. :) GrammarFreak01 (talk) 01:41, 1 March 2020 (UTC)

Would help if I could but having never seen Pokémon Masters, I wouldn't be much good, especially as Lisa Ortiz isn't the voice director so I couldn't use her as a source--BigDocFan (talk) 08:56, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
Oh, okay. Sorry about that. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 09:37, 1 March 2020 (UTC)

You are receiving a block for edit warring for your contributions to the problem on SS014. As you made 3 reversions, your block lasts 3 days. In any situation, talk pages should be used before things go too far. ...In this specific situation, the fact that you were very obviously dealing with a brand new user means you 100% should have posted something to get their attention, especially being so experienced an editor.

When you return, I hope you remember to use talk pages a little more. Tiddlywinks (talk) 00:22, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

I find this block a little unfair, I actually reported it to Force Fire on Discord and I even told Mr Zacan about it in the summaries--BigDocFan (talk) 08:52, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
Turns out I didn't alert ForceFire to the edit war as I thought, this is still unfair--BigDocFan (talk) 08:55, 9 March 2020 (UTC)

User:Hikaru Wazana/Korrina (anime)

Hi, I started a project to make a page for Korrina and her participation in the anime. Can you help me or give me some tips on how to work the page?As she has a lot of content and her page is a bit messy, I thought it would be useful, since she will be a rival in at least one of the next episodes.Hikaru Wazana (talk) 21:34, 06 April 2020 (UTC)

Not sure if Korrina is worthy of her own page yet, have a look at my page for Leon to get an idea--BigDocFan (talk) 21:45, 6 April 2020 (UTC)
Hi again, which images are relevant to Brandon's page? One from the battle with Ash, another with Paul and one with a full body?If I can, do I send you the images hosted on a page outside Bulbapedia, or put them on Archives?Hikaru Wazana (talk) 18:18, 12 April 2020 (UTC)

TW05 plot summary removed - why?

The page needs a plot summary, it covers all of the points of the episode, so why? Infernape612 (talk) 03:24, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

Goh's Pokémon

Hi, I saw that you and other people started to work on new pages for some of the Goh Pokémon that appeared in the episode 23, do you think there are any that I could be creating, or at least helping? The one I did for Beedrill, do you think it's good, or is there anything I can add?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 18:14, 08 May 2020 (UTC)

Beedrill looks good, I wouldn't mind if you had a look at my latest two. I plan on doing one for Misdreavus soon. Can't think of any other notables just yet though--BigDocFan (talk) 18:22, 8 June 2020 (UTC)

I agreed why not. You always had pokemon with main characters to have thier own pages. Even with pokemon like Brock who barely had munch characteristics or personality to shown in from Kanto series or Johto like Geodude and Onix. Zubat didn't get munch role until later of series.--User:Gian9456 (talk) 02:49, 013 June 2020 (UTC)

That is something you'll have to discuss with admin.--BigDocFan (talk) 18:51, 13 June 2020 (UTC)

Oh. I saw this then. I assume it was you the administer --User:Gian9456 (talk) 18:51,13 June 2020 (UTC)

Chrysa's English voice

Something is troubling me. Isn't Casey Mongillo male, not female? How can he voice a female character? CAJH (talk) 17:50, 12 June 2020 (UTC)

I have no idea, maybe Casey is female--BigDocFan (talk) 18:01, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
He is clearly stated to be male. And it isn't impossible for voice actors or voice actresses to misremember their roles. The first four episodes were leaked earlier and I used to think that Mongillo was Ren's voice, not Chrysa's. It's odd that no one else isn't trying to think this through. CAJH (talk) 18:09, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Wait a second. Behind the Voice Actors is the only place stating that Mongillo is female. CAJH (talk) 18:11, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Turns out Casey is what they call non-binary--BigDocFan (talk) 18:16, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
I also figured out other reasons for my previous misunderstandings. I forgot to check out the part "Additional voices" from the ending credits from the first four leaked episodes. CAJH (talk) 12:15, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

Edit summary

Just letting you know, I deleted the edit summaries of the VA confirmation due to the gratuitous amount of personal information within including what looked like the VA's personal discord tag and what looked to be your own full name. Please be a bit more careful next time when sharing content like that, I'd hate for you or anyone else to get into trouble as a result. --Spriteit (talk) 07:42, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

Noted for future reference, in future I'll do what I do with VA lists and have an admin check them for approval.--BigDocFan (talk) 08:14, 16 June 2020 (UTC)

Personality section

Did you read them. What is your thoughts? - unsigned comment from Gian9456 (talkcontribs)
I guess you didn't like what i said. I just thought what I sen in the new episode was more updated version that's all. I can tell you didn't read anything I said.Truly sorry. I just wanted to help. - unsigned comment from Gian9456 (talkcontribs)

I was curious about what you think of this. Despite being recently captured, Darmanitan accepted Goh's orders without any problems. It appears to respect Pokémon it perceives as strong, such as when it greeted Ash's Dragonite with a fist bump after winning the battle against Golurk. It reveals to be smug, as it had watched Scorbunny training with Ash's Pikachu, it noticed that it didn't use any fire type moves. It demonstrates its own power to Scorbunny, Darmanitan had quickly become disrespectful to the rabbit pokemon by continually laughing away - unsigned comment from Gian9456 (talkcontribs) so what u thought - unsigned comment from Gian9456 (talkcontribs)

Old man (XY022) article

Just so you know, PardescanSlowbro tagged your old article for deletion, and I'm inclined to agree with their reasoning. Mind joining the discussion, please? GrammarFreak01 (talk) 00:38, 10 July 2020 (UTC)

Reading the comments, I guess that he doesn't really do a lot to earn his own article so have no problem with it being deleted--BigDocFan (talk) 09:53, 12 July 2020 (UTC)
Okay. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 21:16, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

One question

Hi, can you help me with a question? Battle history normally enter the pages of a Pokémon? I mean, that battle of Goh against Ash, is it considered notable to be put in an article? When there was a discussion about the Scyther page, I think you said that only battles would be recorded, never cameo, so I put the battle on the Goh's Farfetch'd page and a user almost created an edit war removing this information from the my own user page claiming that such information is not notable(I looked for information in the rules and I didn't see it saying anything about it, in fact I thought the opposite of that). As you are more experienced, that battle would you put in an article written by you?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 13:41, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

Neither battles were important like a gym battle or a world coronation ceremony battle so I don't think its important enough to be added.--BigDocFan (talk) 13:57, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
But Goh does not participate in a specific championship, how would that be the best way in this case?Well, anyway, thanks for the answer.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 18:59, 28 July 2020 (UTC)

Goh Farfetch

Shouldn't these pokemon have its own profile page it been in episodes just like Sobble and Beedrill and Scyhter had done. - unsigned comment from Gian9456 (talkcontribs)

That isn't down to me to decide. Work has been started on a page but only admin can confirm it ready--BigDocFan (talk) 08:22, 29 July 2020 (UTC)

Preview template

We have a preview button template that should be used when informing someone about using the preview button. This is meant as an easy way to keep things neutral and helpful for first "offenses". Tiddlywinks (talk) 19:16, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

Ah, thanks for that. I wasn't really aware of it before now, noted for future reference.--BigDocFan (talk) 19:31, 15 August 2020 (UTC)

Aren't you forgetting something?

As a wild Pokémon Pinsir used to be agressive and hostile, attacking Ash and Goh at sight, however its agressive behavior have completely died down under Goh's possesion. Esquilo30 (talk) 18:20, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

No, Pinsir was just defending himself. At the end of the same episode, he appears more social in the Park's interaction;Hikaru Wazana (talk) 18:42, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
I guess that makes sense, btw how do you know its male? Esquilo30 (talk) 18:57, 16 August 2020 (UTC)
Gender differences. GrammarFreak01 (talk) 22:05, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

Goh's Hitmonchan

Hi Hello. Could you answer a question? Since Goh's Hitmonchan is based on a game event, is it valid to put the game information where it happens as it is on Ash's Pokémon (Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle) page and their situations in Let's Go Eevee / Pikachu? Or is it better to leave without this kind of information? On a page that you put together, would you put that kind of information?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 13:32, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

I haven't a clue, I think you should check with admin about that--BigDocFan (talk) 13:30, 24 August 2020 (UTC)
My two cents would be to leave that information out for now. AdilTalk page 15:40, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

English dub cast

Hey BigDocFan, I would like to talk to you about the dub cast lists. Would you prefer via email or does Discord work better for you? AdilTalk page 13:11, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

Discord would be easier if that's OK, I'm on Bulbagarden under the name Joe Crammond. Hope I'm not in trouble.--BigDocFan (talk) 13:14, 29 August 2020 (UTC)
Nah, it's all good. I just needed some help from you, hence the question. Discord works, thanks!. AdilTalk page 13:19, 29 August 2020 (UTC)

Hey, could you send different screen of this Pokemon so it could be more clear to see that it's a new male variant?--Rocket Grunt 14:17, 9 September 2020 (UTC)

Adding voices actors for Pokémon via audio hearing

Actually, I heard the voice via audio hearing from the show but i don't know if it is allowed.

Please BigDocFan, can you tell me if it's allowed ?

If it is, i will always add some voice actors in for missing information in japanese and english.

User:Hikaru Wazana/Bea (anime)

Hi Hello. I started work on an exclusive page for Bea in the anime. If you can give me a hand when you have time, it will help me a lot.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 10:17, 27 September 2020 (UTC)

Will do, I'm thinking of starting a page of her Grapploct later if you could give me a hand there as well.--BigDocFan (talk) 10:24, 27 September 2020 (UTC)
Can you upload Bea's image as a child?I don't think I'm going to get it in good quality this time.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 00:17, 28 September 2020 (UTC)

Voice actors

You added the voice actors for Goh's Venonat and Nidoran♀ before we knew those Pokémon were Goh's. Please don't add stuff like that until we know who the Pokémon belong to in future. Playerking95 (talk) 11:12, 27 November 2020 (UTC)

How do I rename a page for the main space? I saw that ForceFire approved the Morpeko page as well and how you did it on the Greedent's page you should know how to do it. Can you help me with what is still missing?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 11:38, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

What you have to do is go to where it says Move and click on it like you can see in this screenshot here. Mainspace-1.png, It will take you to a page like this where you have to change it from User to Main and change the title. Mainspace-2.png. I tried to do it for you but there was this warning You do not have permission to move this page, for the following reason: A page of that name already exists, or the name you have chosen is not valid. Please choose another name.--BigDocFan (talk) 11:45, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
Yeah, I tried it here too and got the same message. Does this mean that only site admins can do this?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 11:48, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
Normally we can do it fine as I did with Greedent but I'm guessing there's a redirect link for Morpeko (anime) preventing you from mainspacing it at the moment. I have asked Force Fire on Discord about it.--BigDocFan (talk) 11:50, 29 November 2020 (UTC)
Ok. Well, thank you very much for now.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 11:52, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

User:Hikaru Wazana/Vermilion City Schooll‎

Hi, I started an exclusive page for Vermilion City school, can you help me? If that doesn't bother you, I'll still upload some of the screens I captured on the site. So I think it will take a while for it to be ready. But any help is welcome.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 00:28, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

Sure, was also thinking it might be worth doing a page for Team Rocket's Base--BigDocFan (talk) 08:49, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
If you need any help with that, just talk. I will be happy to help.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 21:18, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for the pictures you added. If not to disturb you, would you be able to give your opinion on the quality of the article? I mean, if i need to add any more information, photo, or image of another location shown. What do you think?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 00:57, 23 December 2020 (UTC)

pokemon anime moves page

Because you have a pokemon anime moves page that you want deleted eventually, I am interested to have an anime move page for my userspace especially since I believe lost track of how many times Pikachu used Thunderbolt, Meowth using Scratch and/or Fury Swipes, all instances where a move is used in the main series anime and which moves appear in each anime. Please reply when you can! If you are okay with this, I may also need your help with creating and editing such pages for each.Ctc1017 (talk) 10:46, 12 December 2020 (UTC)

I have no problem with you creating your own page for it--BigDocFan (talk) 13:55, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
Then I will need your help as we need to start at square one (aka the first episode of the original series). You can help as much as you want and take as much time as you need to help fill these pages out. We should go by the Pokemon's movesets in the Japanese since the dub does get a number of moves wrong (especially in the earlier seasons). Reply when you can!Ctc1017 (talk) 21:55, 12 December 2020 (UTC)
I had the thought of having each episode separate anime moves into three categories: Activated (actually used), unsuccessful (a Pokemon is told to use a move, but it does not for one reason or another), and mentioned (it is confirmed verbally by characters). I thought of using concepts from the table you used on the former anime moves page you used to work on, but I want to add a notes column as well. Reply your thoughts on all of this, please! Thank you!Ctc1017 (talk) 18:22, 14 December 2020 (UTC)

Jenny (M08)

Hello at Jenny (M08) you undid my edit. Where is the source that says that Suzanne Goldish does this role? She doesn't have twitter so I can't aask her. Asside form IMDB( which you said isn't reliable, I can't find anything. Would you mind telling me where this Suzanne Goldish comes from please? Or are you listening to that old Chatot from Driftveal city again? Aden Singh (talk) 14:14, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

I think you're better of speaking to admin about this, Bulbapedia has they policies when it comes to voice actors, we don't play it by ear. Suzanne Goldish was credited in the role by Bulbapedia before I started editing so they must have had evidence back then, unless new evidence from a reliable source comes to light, we keep Suzanne Goldish as the credited actress--BigDocFan (talk) 14:26, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

And that is exactly what lead to many bogus claims in voice acting. Remember Annice Moriarty V. Kether Donohue, Ursula Conlon (Shannon Conley) V. Carol Jacobanis, etc? Aden Singh (talk) 14:45, 16 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi, I would like to know if you can get some captures for the JN060 episode. Like, I needed the display screen for Ash's match against Rinto, one between the two facing each other (to put it in the article, right when the appearance of the display happens, there is a very good one of them in full body with their respective Pokémon [2]), and one where it shows him in full body (or at least, more than the face, to put it in the article). For this last one, this one seemed to be the best option.[3]It happens at 11:18 of the episode, more or less.

I mean, if I'm not going to give you any trouble.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 01:52, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Should it be mentioned

this is amazing the second time fully evolved for ash --Gian9456 21:53, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

As I mentioned, second isn't notable. Things like that have been added to other pages and removed.--BigDocFan (talk) 21:54, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

Transferring pages

Hi, I was wondering if you're interested in adopting some pages that I still haven't been able to put in the mainspace. Let's say, instead of being a Userpage with my nickname, put it with yours, then you would edit it as you wish. The pages would be these here....

Some are virtually ready, so it wouldn't need much work, but I'm doing this because I'm going to ask an administrator to delete what you're not interested in keeping active. Ash's page from the Journeys manga, I think it would be helpful to decrease the extra size of the anime counterpart's page. The biggest job there will be getting the images of his Pokémon, which requires a little searching. Bea's page I think by the end of Journeys will have enough to go to mainspace. Has interest?--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 21:29, 04 August 2021 (UTC)

Hi, In today's episode, Professor Hodaka tells Goh that the Pokémon from the hunters are going to be rescued and returned to the wild. Apparently Project Mew is the Greenpeace of the Pokémon world.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 18:21, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

My bad, heard them mention something about hunters but wasn't sure as I understand very little Japanese.--BigDocFan (talk) 18:20, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
No problem, I already had access to a translated version of the episode.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 18:39, 10 September 2021 (UTC)

Ash's Sirfetch’d

Hello, BigDocFan. How are you? Thanks for figuring out Sirfetch’d’s English voice. That’s what I helped put, but it got reverted.--CoolPokéGuy (Talk) 23:06, 11 September 2021 (UTC)

You're welcome, Bulbapedia requires a reliable source for it to be allowed, luckily I'm in contact with Marc Thompson himself who confirmed it.--BigDocFan (talk) 07:40, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
I was doing the same trying to asking him that, but didn’t get a reply yet.--CoolPokéGuy (Talk) 08:48, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
