Wynaut (Japanese: ソーナノ Sohnano; German: Isso; French: Okeoke) is a Psychic-type Pokémon. Wynaut has the Ability Shadow Tag, which prevents opponents from escaping.

Wynaut evolves into Wobbuffet at Level 15.

A Wynaut loves to eat sweet fruits. It cleverly picks fruits using its earlike arms. They gather in fruit gardens, drawn by the fragrance.

Name origin

Wynaut's name is pronounced identically to phrase "why not?" Its Japanese name is almost homophonous with the word そうなの sō na no, which means "really?"

Its name, when paired with the Japanese name of its evolution, Wobbuffet, ソーナンス Sonans, makes for a potential perpetual conversation of "really?" followed by "that's the way it is," and so on, as seen in Camp Pikachu.
