Fiery Dance (Japanese: ほのおのまい Fire Dance) is a damage-dealing Fire-type move introduced in Generation V. Prior to Generation IX, it was the signature move of Volcarona.
Effect
Generations V to VII
Fiery Dance inflicts damage and has a 50% chance of raising the user's Special Attack stat by one stage.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Sword and Shield
In Versions 1.0 to 1.1.1 of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Fiery Dance could not be selected in a battle. Starting with Version 1.2.0, it can be selected and functions as it did in previous generations.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Fiery Dance cannot be selected in a battle.
