Wandering Spirit (Japanese: さまようたましい Wandering Spirit) is an Ability introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature Ability of Galarian Yamask and Runerigus.
Effect
In battle
When a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a contact move, it will switch Abilities between it and the target. It does not work on Disguise, Flower Gift, Gulp Missile, Ice Face, Illusion, Imposter, Receiver, RKS System, Schooling, Stance Change, Wonder Guard, and Zen Mode.
The Ability will trigger even if the user has fainted from the move.
Outside of battle
Wandering Spirit has no effect outside of battle.
