Undella Bay appeared in Meloetta and the Undersea Temple! and Unova's Survival Crisis!, where it and the Abyssal Ruins were the site of the final phase of Team Rocket's "Operation Tempest." After capturing Meloetta, Giovanni used it and its recorded song to unlock the Reveal Glass's seal in the Abyssal Ruins. Using the Reveal Glass, Giovanni then proceeded to summon and take control of Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus, transforming them into their Therian Formes in the process. In the end, thanks to Ash, his friends, Cynthia, and Ridley, Meloetta was freed, the Legendary Pokémon were stopped, and Team Rocket's plan ended in a failure, forcing them to retreat.
Trivia
- In Black and White, Undella Bay appears on the Town Map as a green dot, like other landmarks, but in Black 2 and White 2, it appears as a line segment, as if it were a route. Similarly, the Desert Resort also appears as a line segment; however, it is also a line segment in Black and White.
