Please...

You've been making too many edits to the User talk: namespace lately. Please take your conversations to the forums, a chatroom, e-mail, an IM service, or something similar, as that many edits will slow down the server. --MaverickNate 20:40, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Oh is my face red. Look at me all abusing the user talk namespace on five other user's talk pages and my own. Man, thanks. I'll think twice about carrying on a discussion that will not end until I win...--P S Yライダー 23:59, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

CharacterDex Question

Um, in light of the last section, I hope I won't be causing a problem, but this IS what the CharacterDex page said to do. Recently, I've noticed that pages like N's have all his quotes from everywhere, whereas Brendan didn't have any quotes before I added the Match Call section. What is the official CharacterDex policy? Personally, I prefer having all the quotes, but I was wondering which was considered better. :) Ikarishipper900 23:51, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

I agree. I think it would be better to have quotes for all game characters. --P S Yライダー 23:59, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Okay cool thank you. :) I can start getting quotes for some characters, but what I'm wondering now is would it be better for me to gather all the quotes from the whole game and then put it on the page, or put the quotes up as I go and put an incomplete template or something like that? The second would be easier, but I want to be sure that's okay. :) PS: Could this get added to the to-do list or something if we want the quotes? That thing hasn't been updated in.... Over a year, actually. (I apologize for asking a ton of questions. >__<) Ikarishipper900 23:11, 3 May 2011 (UTC)
No problem. You can tag them with incomplete and just use the reason "needs quotes" or something. Every little thing helps. And yes, I can add that to the to-do list. Cheers~ --P S Yライダー 02:34, 4 May 2011 (UTC)

Confused...?

A user by the name blastoiseboy19 created his/her own page. I believe that one is not allowed to create a user page for him/herself. I'm guessing all the people with authoritiy missed this? Han Ji-Wan 02:36, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

Users are allowed to make their own userpages and edit it once a day. If he does over edit, then we step in to protect it. --P S Yライダー 03:27, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I think you misunderstood me. I meant to say that he/she created the page when he was not allowed to.. Do you get what I'm trying to say? Han Ji-Wan 04:24, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
I'm not following you, sorry. He made edits and followed the rules, so he was able to create his userpage. I'm not sure exactly what you mean though. --P S Yライダー 04:29, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Okay, how exactly does one user get a user page and become an official member? The red link for the username becomes blue, and that shows that that user has become a member. It seems to me that blastoise19 created his page. I thought that only users of a higher authority, like you are allowed to create user pages for newbie members to like what I am now. Perhaps I'm not understanding the whole thing here? I hope this clears everything up for you so you can clear my confusion. Han Ji-Wan 05:16, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Once you register, you're an "official member". The redlink means that the userpage is not yet created. Once the user has edited enough mainspace pages and is autoconfirmed, they can create the userpage. --P S Yライダー 06:05, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing up my confusion. It's just that I have seen some users create user pages on their own and get immediately undone by others. Han Ji-Wan 06:09, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Might you have been thinking of users who create it in the mainspace?--P S Yライダー 06:48, 6 May 2011 (UTC)
Woah. I looked at a random talk page and see my name. Yeah, I had a little chat with the dark lord trombonator and I got *cough*indirect*cough* permission to make a user page... user tags were just the coolest thing a week ago for noobs. :D Blastoiseboy19(Talk) was here at 19:43, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

MenisPuncher

I don't know if this name is appropiate or not so I thought I'd tell you about it. --Pokemaster97 19:35, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

I just welcomed him, sorry. I wasn't thinking for a minute if it was appropriate or not... :( Pokabu82 19:38, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
It's alright, we all make mistakes. They've been blocked but allowed to make a new account. --P S Yライダー 19:43, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

?Why?

Why did you protect me from editing my page?!?!? - unsigned comment from DrBrock (talkcontribs)

Because you did not read the one a day edit policy. Although, looking at the page history, I mistakenly used the wrong protection time. You can have it back, however, one edit a day, or you will lose it again. --P S Yライダー 21:29, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

Final Gambit

Hey, could you reply here concerning my undone edit, I think it's just a misunderstanding of what "Final Gambit will not faint a Pokémon with Sturdy." means though. Pikiwyn talk 18:31, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Alright, thank you. I've replied~ --P S Yライダー 19:44, 17 May 2011 (UTC)

Question about additional personal pages

Hi! I want to ask if it is allowed here on Bulbapedia to create some more personal pages (besides my Main User Page). I mean to create sub-pages of my Main Page. Something like this: User:ATEMVEGETA/test page.

If this is allowed then can I create as many pages as I want? (I want to create a page for each Pokemon Glitch). Also can I put pictures and videos in those pages?

Also, what is that one-edit-a-day thing?

Thanks! ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 12:33, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

I don't know how many more you can have actually, but there might be a limit, as Bulbapedia would probably not like 30 subpages, however, you can create that userpage. The one a day edit is in place because the servers are wonky from the Black & White rush and as such, limit to the userspace is to try to prevent server stress. --P S Yライダー 16:11, 20 May 2011 (UTC)

.png move

hey, can you move b.PNG to b.png, i forgot to change end of name, all windows computers do that for some reason :P --×Rsrdaman× 02:50, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Yes I can, and it's been done. :D --P S Yライダー 03:21, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Paul's Drapion

I put the protect template on Paul's Drapion's page after it was changed to a redirect as it just lost its notability status and there may have been edit conflicts. PattyMan 03:48, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Then just ask a person to protect it then. Otherwise, the redirect is broken. Ataro 04:00, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
I don't feel that it's a pressing matter at the time. If someone does try to revert, then action will be taken. Until then, it should stay unprotected. --P S Yライダー 04:02, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Just a thought

hi there, i only made an account to voice this tactic, i am thinking that in the Justified ability section you can include the beat up tactic for a double battle. The best thing to do is get a weavile which knows beat up, or chain breed a charizard like i have done, then use beat up against your own partner in a double battle. I use cobalion and i play online, with 4 people, so his attack with go up 4 stages(as beat up attacks the same number of times as the number of pokemon in your party) and from here on that pokemon, cobalion being quite fast and now will extremely high attack power, will sweep the other team easily. I didnt want to keep this to myself so hopefully it will be made known by you editing or creating a page? thanx 4 listening.Solar 09:42, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

It might be a good strategy, but it won't get put on the page. We're an encyclopedia, not a strategy guide, so we don't have strategies on the pages. Werdnae (talk) 09:45, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Sorry...

Sorry about that. Won't happen again! ISB 19:48, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

It's alright, just try to contribute more to the article itself. We get a lot of trivia daily and we're trying to cut it down to a very minimum for right now, hence the current trivia ban. --P S Yライダー 19:51, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Just to tell you

this_wiki has copied templates from Bulbapedia. Anything to do about this issue? Plan an attack like we did on 2008-2009 on The Pokemon Wiki. Slipknot Darkrai 21:21, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

We do not attack, we will try to talk with them and get them to change it. --P S Yライダー 21:27, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
Then why don't we talk and make a friendly agreement to that seeing that it is illegal. Slipknot Darkrai 21:45, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
I don't know why people think we organized an attack on them. We've never organized an attack on anyone. That's not how we roll. *puts on sunglasses* -- MAGNEDETH 21:48, 23 May 2011 (UTC)
We will and we're on the case. Trom is the resident copyright issue dealer, and he's been alerted to the issue and he will handle it by speaking to whoever is in charge. Thank you for your concern though, we've got this down. 8D --P S Yライダー 21:50, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

HerbalFusion

Keeps adding non-official information based on personal derivations and needs a permablock for this blatant vandalism according to the blocking policies for he is adding unconfirmed/false information and that is vandalism.(Also that is personal content in the mainspace.) Plus, his refusal to stop this blatant vandalism is called insubordination and is the same reason felinoel was permablocked. Please stop this ignored vandal before he alters the site's Pokémon pages irrevocably and permanantly. Thank you. - unsigned comment from Muk-a-matic (talkcontribs)

Whoa whoa whoa, calm down. Looking at his edits, they're not as false as they seem. Amoonguss are found on Route 10 and 11 in the tall dark grass, with the ones on Route 10 having their heads seen, as what he wrote. BW032 shows the Cottonee riding on the wind, hence the episode name, together during the mating season, as well as the Cottonee that I believe Ash befriended using Cotton Guard to defend itself against Ash's Scraggy. I don't recall the Helping Hand bit, but I'll ask around. None of what he wrote is in anyway vandalism or blockable. Felinoel and this user are not even comparable, so please don't refer to them as such. This user is trying to help, while Felinoel was a clear troll. Thank you for understanding. --P S Yライダー 22:28, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Trivia additions

I understand the reasoning behind the recent ban on trivia additions, but I think it was a little over the top to actually delete my addition to Azelf's page. Azelf currently has no trivia associated with it at all. If its page is in need of anything, I would argue it's trivia and not "actual content", as it's the only Pokémon to my memory whose Trivia section is completely blank.

I'm willing to accept that the other Pokémon whose Trivia section I updated with essentially the same message perhaps could do without additional trivia given the crackdown (though its own section has a mere two lines of it). But is one of Azelf's most unique and distinguishing competitive characteristics so irrelevant and pointless to warrant its removal, leaving its Trivia section again completely blank? Jumpman16 00:42, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Just because a page doesn't have any trivia associated with it doesn't mean we should automatically find something to add to it. Pages don't need trivia now. If there is nothing that can be added to the page content, there are dozens of more important things to do than add trivia. We have stubs that need expanding, pages that are actually incomplete, images that need uploading and pages that need to be created. --P S Yライダー 00:54, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Togepi (Sinnoh)

Our notability policy. And I quote: Pokémon that belong to characters of the day are never notable for their own article. However, in rare instances, an exception may be made if the Pokémon itself was a character of the day. I think that that Togepi more than qualifies as a character of the day in its own right, given that it was the focus of pretty much the entire episode. I would've brought it up on the talk page, but the article was deleted by you within seconds of the delete tag being put up on the page. Please reconsider, based on what I've told you. Thank you. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 02:45, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

We have that policy in place to prevent exactly what you made that article into: a summary of the episode itself. Without it, it would have been just another stub. You do not have any authority to announce that you'll "make this page myself right now." You run it by an admin for their consent and approval. That policy isn't there for show. The admin you should have went to is Kenji-girl. It's her job to decide who and what is notable. She is the leader of Project Anime, not you. Also, you should have put the article in your userspace first before you went ahead and created it in the mainspace. Please remember this next time. I think you've been here long enough to know how things work. --P S Yライダー 02:52, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Ah, OK. But wasn't it just announced that articles about anime Pokémon shouldn't be made in the userspace anymore? Anyway, sorry. I'll keep this in mind in the future. And you're right, I've been here long enough, I ought to know how this stuff works by now. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 02:55, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure that's for the recent string of userspace articles revolving around the rumored Pokémon the characters are supposed to get, ie Dent's Audino, Ash's Roggenrola, etc. If you're unsure about the notability of a Pokémon, then the next best thing is to ask a staff member or bring it up on a talk page. That's what they're there for. --P S Yライダー 03:00, 30 May 2011 (UTC)
Ah, I see. That's what I'll do next time. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 03:01, 30 May 2011 (UTC)

Inspiration Behind Meloetta

I noticed an insightful suggestion for the inspiration behind Meloetta some months ago on Bulbapedia, clearly an indication of the careful research that goes into this premier Pokémon encyclopedia. I was surprised not to see it today so I re-posted something similar.

"Meloetta appears to be based on the Muses of Greek Mythology, in particular Terpsichore, the Muse of dance and chorus, and possibly Euterpe, the Muse of music and poetry."

Minutes after this was deleted again. Puzzled, I reviewed the history page only to read your note: "ONM AU&NZ Issue 30 June 2011 Page 63: Masuda says that no legendarys are related to Greek mythology". Here in the U.S., I really was not aware of this clarification by such an insider. Sorry for inconvenience – it was simply an earnest effort to uphold the level of scholarship that actually lies behind each Pokémon species. Moreover, what I am most sorry for is that Victini will also lose some incredible background as well in light of this revelation: "Conceptually, it might draw inspiration from Nike, the Greek, winged goddess of victory, or Victoria, the Roman equivalent of Nike. Its tail wings may be a reference to Nike's wings." I suppose such are tests to our commitment to accuracy.

AceTrainerAlvaro 22:50, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

I totally understand, I really do. We actually believed it to be based from a Greek standpoint, seeing as a lot of the inspiration was more western this time around, however since that magazine came out, it appears that it wasn't the case. However, Meloetta isn't out in the open yet, so it might still be based on Greek mythology, we'll have to see if there's any publication after it's revealed publicly. However, for now, we should leave it as it's not a Greek inspiration, if that's alright. D: --P S Yライダー 23:02, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

How to add.

Im trying to add my name to the team CharcterDex, but if i add just my user name at the bottom of the list, it wont show! it just becomes of the part after the list. What do i need to type ecacttly to add my name?~Bobo 23:03, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

You put your name after the show/hide function, which I added because we have a lot of users, so it wasn't appearing in the list. But, don't worry, I've fixed it. :D --P S Yライダー 23:07, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

about the shiny ditto glitch

i noticed you changed my informative article about the shiny ditto glitch into a redirect to a vague, nonhelpful part of the list of minor glitches. i undid this, as i think the article i made is helpful and well made, if not at least a good start. please dont make it a redirect again, or at least explain your position before you do. DJLO 00:25, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Too late. It is a minor glitch, as noted on that page. Do not tell me not to change it into a redirect, as I don't feel it worthy as needing its own page. However, you are free to add more info to the section on the page it is currently redirecting to. --P S Yライダー 00:27, 6 June 2011 (UTC)

Trivia issue

I don't see why I don't have the right to add Trivia. I assure you that Trivia DOES count as content, and many other people do the same. I dont think you need to bring that up on me. --Satoshi101 03:07, 6 June 2011 (UTC) 03:06, 6 June 2011 (UTC)Satoshi101

Uh, dude, at the moment, NOBODY has the right to add trivia. It's part of a way of dealing with the high server load. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 03:08, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Considering the site notice says "Do not add any trivia" in bold, apparently I do need to. It's for everyone, not just you. --P S Yライダー 03:09, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
and btw MM, it isnt about server load. it was never about server load. we simply have other jobs to do rather than add trivia right now. -- MAGNEDETH 03:44, 6 June 2011 (UTC)
Well I can't be blamed for this. You should bug other people who do this about it. User see, user do! It said as "Black and White server is still high", I don't think that would apply to earlier series. Satoshi101 04:02, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
Look, just so you know, I'm new to this stuff. Satoshi101 04:02, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
We do that to other users, thanks. I didn't just decide to pick on you about this. We go to every user who decides to ignore the site notice and add trivia. I am aware that you are a new user, but that doesn't mean you can ignore the site notice. "Black and White sever load is still high" refers to the stress of people viewing Bulbapedia for information, not about adding trivia to BW pages. --P S Yライダー 04:28, 9 June 2011 (UTC)
Ok, I guess there's no point in arguing more. Satoshi101 21:54, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Mecha image

Since you are so good at uploading anime screeenshots, could you please upload a picture of one of Team Rocket's mechas, the one they used in DP182? Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 11:51, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Yes I can, and done. Cheers~ --P S Yライダー 12:04, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
Now I would need a picture of the mecha used in AG100. Can you do it? --FinnishPokéFan92 12:13, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Done, and uploaded. 8D --P S Yライダー 12:22, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
Again here with a request: now we need an image of the mecha used in AG133. Also, could you put its name in the article as well? I couldn't quite make it out. --FinnishPokéFan92 13:05, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
Uploaded and added, I'll try to find the name of it later though. 8D. --P S Yライダー 13:16, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
When you do, watch if I had it correct now. --FinnishPokéFan92 13:24, 28 July 2011 (UTC) PS. Why isn't AG012 mecha's image showing itself completely? Is it just my computer, or what's wrong with it.
This time, I've added two mechas on the list and again I need the images. This time the episodes are AG134 and AG137. --FinnishPokéFan92 14:42, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
I'll get to it as soon as I can. :D Also, a little late cause I never noticed your PS, but the reason it didn't show up was probably because it was linked before it was uploaded or it was moved and the link wasn't changed. --P S Yライダー 18:22, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Re:Finny D:

Sorry about that overediting. It just wasn't clear to me was the limit one or three edits. Now I feel really stupid as it was os oblivious (hammering my head). --FinnishPokéFan92 14:05, 13 June 2011 (UTC)

Possibility for 1-edit thing

Wouldn't it be possible to auto-protect the userpage for 1 day after 1 edit to it, just to prevent multiple edits in one day? --Ninegon Forever! 04:01, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

Probably would be easier, but it's probably a technical thing that would have to be done, which I have no control over, however I can bring it up with another staff member. --P S Yライダー 04:44, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
As of right now, the idea would be difficult to implement, and we're passing on it for the time being, however we may come back to it at a later date. Thank you for your suggestion though. :D --P S Yライダー 04:52, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

Shadow Triad masks

I just wanted to know your thoughts on how exactly it's an opinion that their masks are shaped like Pansage, Panpour, and Pansear's fur. Cause they are. It is in fact drawn that way in the comic. So....where is the opinion? :S Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 04:41, 21 June 2011 (UTC)

People share different views, you can see the Elemental Monkeys because you're obsessed with the Striaton City gym leaders, however, others may see it as different lines on how they're drawn to differentiate them from each other. --P S Yライダー 04:48, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
I'm sorry but I don't think you had to point out the "obsession" thing. The monkey mask pattern caught my eye too. I know we have the "keep opinions out" thing here but I don't see how that can be interpreted any other way. Like Carny being based on Carnivine. Deth even OK'd it while we were talking about it. Also, nothing was being mentioned about the Striaton Gym Leaders. Just the monkeys. --ケンジガール 05:04, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
With the case of Carny, his Japanese and English names are explicitly based off the Pokémon. Even if it is based of the monkey trio, it still is an opinion as it's not as explicitly based on the monkey trio other than a similar line. There is nothing to base it off of, so yeah, it is an opinion. --P S Yライダー 05:12, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
But it's not an opinion that their mask patterns are identical to the monkeys' face patterns. But saying that the masks are based on the monkeys would be an opinion.--Den Zen 08:42, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
It doesn't matter, I brought it up with CoolPikachu! and he too felt like it was an opinion. If you don't agree, fine. Bring it up with him, but don't get into an edit war. --P S Yライダー 16:02, 21 June 2011 (UTC)

Quote question

So, if I'm getting quotes from a third generation game - say, Emerald - where the capitalization is all crazy, do we keep the quotes with the crazy capitalization, or fix it? I'm thinking keep it, although I don't like it. Ikarishipper900 01:45, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

I think we should to be consistent with the games, but I'd have to ask around just for confirmation. If you want a second opinion, you can ask Trom. --P S Yライダー 01:47, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I'll do that. On a slightly related note, when I was doing stuff with Brendan's page, I ended up with headers that had six =s, and those headers have very small font... is there a way for me to reduce the number of headers and stay within the CharacterDex format? Ikarishipper900 02:11, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Quotes could be a new section with 3 ='s and the game section having 4 ='s, similar to Alder's page. --P S Yライダー 02:29, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
I could do that, although it's a little diffrent than what's on the CharacterDex page... I'll have to do it later though. Thank you! Ikarishipper900 02:49, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
Well, I think there's room for compromise, especially when it seems to look difficult, like on Brendan's page. No problem. :D --P S Yライダー 02:51, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

Can I please ask you to refrain from such comments in edit summaries. I am fully aware of the typo I made and there is no need to be condescending. The only reason I didn't correct it immediately is because I do not have the power to move images in the Archives. Please don't be rude. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 06:02, 28 June 2011 (UTC)

It's not breaking the Code of Conduct in any way. I can say it if I want to. --P S Yライダー 11:30, 28 June 2011 (UTC)
It, and your smug response, is unbecoming of an admin. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 00:07, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
Saying "Wow..." in an edit summary isn't any indication of my attitude or my personality, so I would appreciate if you would stop judging me based on one harmless thing I said. The upload form tells you what to do, to make sure your file name is correct so we don't have to change it. That means it was your job to make sure it was correct at the beginning. It says "Did you make sure that the file name has no errors? Renaming media files is tedious." Second, you seem to know who is staff, so that means you should have gone to someone on the staff to change it, not add it to the page because that makes you look bad. Next time you should use the move template. If you have more questions, you should ask the staff or go to our FAQ. There's a click able section called "This file has a wrong name, how do I change it?" Thank you. --P S Yライダー 01:13, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
I am experienced in Wiki, and yes I know all of that. I apologise for my single, one-off typo which I will not repeat. I was just letting you know that what you did could be construed as condescending and thought that you might appreciate this information so that you could be careful. However, it seems that simply swallowing your pride and apologising, even if you do not believe you are in the wrong, is beyond you, so you can have things your way. Good day. Toon Ganondorf (t c) 01:50, 29 June 2011 (UTC)

General issue...

This is probably not your realm, but lately I've been having a hard time logging in and making edits due to a "loss of session data" or something like that. Do you know what the deal with that is, or who I should talk to? (Including this post. It recommends I log out, log back in, try again, and I did that a few minutes ago.) Ikarishipper900 02:27, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

As far as I know, it's just the server being all weird and wonky. It's just something the server does from time to time when the server load is high. --P S Yライダー 02:34, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
Oh okay. Sorry to bother you then. -sweat drop- Ikarishipper900 03:43, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
It's alright. :P It should subside *soon*, as it does that a lot, it comes and goes. --P S Yライダー 03:55, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

Deletion request

Sorry for bothering you again, but could you delete this and this? They are failed attempted to make a usertag. I asked somebody to delete it before, and then I tried again. I promise I won't try it again. Thanks. :--SuperAipom7 (Questions?) 02:38, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

It's alright, and it's been done. Cheers~ --P S Yライダー 02:41, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
Thanks again. :--SuperAipom7 (Questions?) 02:42, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I didn't make a new section because I have a deletion request too. Can you delete Matthew (Sinnoh) so that I can move Matthew (anime) beacuse of another anime Matthew in BW038?--Den Zen 11:41, 1 July 2011 (UTC)

Pages using the old learnlist template

So me and about a few other people have finished up updating the old learnlist. (I have no clue how to link you directly to the page). Anyways, the only things left are talk pages stuff and I don't think that's suppose to be altered with. Just wanted to bring to your attention since you have bunch of other stuff to worry about. It's located on the Main Page and I think its just collecting dust there now... --Galm 22:30, 4 July 2011 (UTC)

lolol I don't have that much to do. I'm also not sure which template that is, but if you can't link it like Template, you can link it just by pasting the whole URL, cause otherwise I don't know which one it is, but I'm happy to get rid of it for you. --P S Yライダー
http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Category:Pages_using_the_old_learnlist_template it's pretty much useless on the main page. --Galm 18:39, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Sorry

Sorry, I didn't know that I wasn't supposed to remove that. Truthseeker4449 22:41, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

It's alright, it happens a lot. The reason we have it in place is so that we can track everything that is said and such, not just for clutter. However, if a talk page gets too crowded, you can archive it. --P S Yライダー 22:49, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Talk Pages

Two Questions. First, Is the "welcome to Bulbapedia" going to appear to others? Second, does a talk page need any modafication to be used. I hope these questions help prevent me from making any more problems. Truthseeker4449 23:07, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

The welcome can be seen by everyone, but should be most important to the user whose page it is on. As for your second question, I'm not sure what you mean exactly. Could you elaborate more please? D: --P S Yライダー 23:15, 5 July 2011 (UTC)

Again here with more requests

Hello! The amazing quality of your image uploads has ince again brought me here to your talk page with some requests:

 • First, there are some empty holes in Anime move errors page's image section. Could you fill them?
 • Second, about a week ago, an article called Legendary golems (movie 8) was created. Could you fill the move templates with images?

That's all I ask for you this time, so smell ya later! --FinnishPokéFan92 14:15, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

I'll do my best. \o/ --P S Yライダー 15:55, 6 July 2011 (UTC)

Request

Hello. I was looking through the list of new users (I do that a lot) and I saw an user called Buttbucket. Yes, I know that he/she registered on the 16th of April, and that he/she hasn't done anything, but still, it's kinda inappropriate, so would you care to block this user? Thanks in advance. TyraniThrone 17:01, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Uh, I don't see it as potentially as offensive as what it could be, but I'll get a second opinion though. Thanks for the notification. --P S Yライダー 17:22, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Colosseum pages

I recently started playing Pokemon Colosseum again, and I decided to help Bulbapedia with its Colosseum pages as well, gathering data while playing the game. On your userpage, you say you mainly help with the Colosseum and XD pages, so I thought I'd bring my question to you. I'm a little confused on the template we should be using for the Trainers. On same pages, such as this one, the Mystery Troopers' Pokemon and attacks are shown, while the others are just the Pokemon and their levels. However, on the Pyrite Town page, the Pokemon's attacks aren't shown, even though they have shadow Pokemon. I'd like to add some trainers, such as the Cipher Peon with the Shadow Yanma that's missing on the Miror B.'s Hideout page, but I'm not really sure which template to use. Any tips? Littlmiget123 20:13, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

The staff felt that only important characters should have the party template, while everyone else just gets the trainerlist template. We also have Shadow Pokémon Trainers in Pokémon Colosseum which is for the trainers who aren't Cipher Peons or Snagem Peons, as well as Cipher Peons in Pokémon Colosseum and Cipher Peons in Pokémon XD for trainers with Shadow Pokes who are the Cipher Trainers, however we don't have a page for Snagems. As for the Shadow Yamna, he would use the party template for the Cipher Peons in Colo page, which should be on the page already, and the trainerlist on the Hideout page. --P S Yライダー 20:24, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
Ah, okay! I see! :) Thanks very much for these pages, and I'll do my best to fill as much as I can. Is there a certain reason there isn't a page for the Snagems, or has no one just created the page yet? Littlmiget123 21:16, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
It might be because there is only like three ones with Shadows, and a handful of them battlable, usually only in Snagem Hideout. I dunno, they might be able to be to get their own pages for both games, but it'd be better to subpage it for now, so you can do it or I can, and then I can bring it to the attention of admins. --P S Yライダー 21:29, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
If you'd like to make a subpage for it, be my guest. However, if you don't feel up to it or are too busy, I'll be more than happy to make one. ^-^ Littlmiget123 21:37, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

I Apologize

I'm sorry for my edit summary for DP188. I was having a bad day and I shouldn't have let it leak on to Bulbapedia. It was out of line and I feel terrible. I won't do it again. :( --Pokemaster97 02:30, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

It's alright, it happens, don't beat yourself up about it because we've all been there. I understand that constantly reverting trivia gets old really fast, but it's just something you get used too. As long as you are fully aware of how there is a right way and a wrong way to how to deal with it and whom it might effect, that's all that matters. Cheers~ --P S Yライダー 02:38, 21 July 2011 (UTC)

Quick question

Hey Psychicrider I have been thinking about what I would in my user page if I ever want to make it. But I was wondering If I could put this on the page: This User is a supporter of Sea Shepherd. It is not something related to Pokémon, which it is why I wanted to ask before I did it Truthseeker4449 01:42, 23 July 2011 (UTC)

Yeah that seems OK to do. Go for it. :D --P S Yライダー 02:26, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
Thank you Truthseeker4449 17:24, 23 July 2011 (UTC)

Battrio

The infobox modification is at User:Werdnae/Sandbox/Battrio. For the Exhaustion in the puck data template, we have two options. It can be set to hide when it's not specified, or when a new parameter is set. Just add {{#if: {}||style="display:none;"}} after the table row start immediately above exhaustion in that template. The same can be done for the Critical Hit stuff on the Attack template, but that one uses two rows, so the code will need to be added to both rows for it to work properly. Everything else seems to hide itself already. Werdnae (talk) 22:52, 26 July 2011 (UTC)

Two quick Questions

Hey PSY, I have two small questions that I would like answers for: 1. I have been adding summarys (I can't spell that other word) to P D&P A (manga) and I found a spoiler warning tempale, Do I have to add that to a Summary? 2 I have noticed that the stuff like recent changes have next to list of edits a number in () is some sort of edit ranking system? Thank you for your time Truthseeker4449 19:34, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

I would put the spoiler template above the summary and below the primary information, but that's me, you can also go to CP! for his official manga ruling. As for the second question, if you're referring to the number like "15:34 . . (+474) . .", it's the number of bytes added to a page. It doesn't serve any other purpose except for telling us when pages are too big and should be split up, or in the case of talk pages, they should be archived. Hope this helped, cheers. --P S Yライダー 19:49, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

I also have two questions. Question #1: How do you make a redirect? Question #2: Does moving a subpage in your userspace count as a userspace edit? Thanks. --Enervation 00:08, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Redirects are made like #REDIRECT Page to be linked to, so if you were redirecting to {{p|Pikachu]]'s page, you'd use it like #REDIRECT Pikachu (Pokémon), and as for your other question, I wasn't aware it was, but Werd says it is. Hope this helps~ --P S Yライダー 00:16, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

My mistake

Sorry, but I made a mistake so I had to edit it two times today, also,it would only count as three edits if you count my creation of the page at 1 am.So sorry,PsychicRider sir.One question, how am I able to edit my userspace when I am barely a month old ?Skarm 19:40, 31 July 2011 (UTC)

Do you know good translator?

Hey PSY I was looking around the site for random info and i found that the sea gallop article needed this translate: シーギャロップごう. So I went to google, yahoo, and a few other sites. But the all came up with some like "She sold us Gallop" I trust the last word but nothing else. So I was hopeing that you would know a good site. Truthseeker4449 00:37, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

Sometimes GT is accurate, sometimes accurate or just terrible. I don't know any sites, but I did ask around the staff. Cheers. --P S Yライダー 00:52, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks I just noticed you fixed that. Have a nice night Truthseeker4449 00:55, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

I want your 2 cents on this matter

There is a Rotom in the overheat article, but I feel that Rotom belongs in the flamethrower and I think the Picture of Rotom in the same article backs me for it looks nothing like a overheat. I would like your opioan (and anyone elses) on ths matter. Thank You. Truthseeker4449 19:09, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

The only fire type move Rotom can learn is Overheat, so it's Overheat. D: -P S Yライダー 20:55, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
oh.... Picks up sword Truthseeker4449 21:03, 5 August 2011 (UTC)

List

One piece of trivia removed (♀ .) was out of date due to the page not being updated, it should have been:

 • ♀ ., PKMN and A are the only dual-type Pokémon with the same type used for both of its types.

This trivia exists on the pages of the other two glitch Pokemon, incase you want to remove them. Other than that, no objections. XVuvuzela2010X 13:26, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

yeah, that one was my objection. I have no problem with that updated trivia (as long as you use PK and MN instead of all those Sups). --SnorlaxMonster 13:29, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

Erm...

What do you make of this? My instinct says its probably fake, but the website its from is in japanese, so I cant be certain. XVuvuzela2010X 23:47, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Never mind, it turned out to be a Pikachu rip-off. XVuvuzela2010X 00:06, 11 August 2011 (UTC)

Edit Request

Hey PSY, why isn't Iris's Axew on the BP:MOS. I would put it there myself, but I don't seem to have the powers to edit that page Truthseeker4449 00:02, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

It is, the reason it's not with the rest of her Pokémon is because it's a walking Pokémon and more important than the rest of her Pokémon. --P S Yライダー 00:09, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Oh. Truthseeker4449 00:14, 12 August 2011 (UTC)

Pokémon Snap

I noticed that you guys don't have a walkthrough for Pokémon Snap. Can I make one? :--SuperAipom7 (Wanna chat?) 15:15, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

My professional opinion would be yes, but you can also check with the leader of Project Walkthroughs. --P S Yライダー 15:20, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Should I put it in my userspace or the mainspace? :--SuperAipom7 (Wanna chat?) 15:22, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
If you can do it all in one edit or so, the Appendix space; if you're going to make more than that, I'd put it in the userspace. --P S Yライダー 15:30, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Oración

The link to the "sercet page on Pokemon.com" doesn't work. the page seems to have been removed. Can I delink it and metion that the page seems to no longer exists. Truthseeker4449 15:57, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

Yes, just add a sentence at the end of the paragraph. --P S Yライダー 17:31, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Thank you Truthseeker4449 17:35, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Not a problem, and thank you. --P S Yライダー 17:57, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

umm...

How do I use the forums? Truthseeker4449 23:36, 13 August 2011 (UTC)

On the navigation sidebar, click the link under Bulbagarden Archives, named "Bulbawiki forum" and it takes you to the forums and somewhere there should be a register button. --P S Yライダー 23:38, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
I did that a long time ago, I mean like how do I make my thoughts heard. Truthseeker4449 23:41, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
You can make a post in the Bulbawiki General Forum, which contains threads for each of the wikis, where you can make posts for suggestions, comments or concerns. --P S Yライダー 23:44, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Do I hit the pretty button labeled "Post New Thread"? Truthseeker4449 23:49, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
No, you want to just go to whatever thread you're wanting to post in, be it Archives, Bulbapedia or Bulbanews, and just type a new post in whatever thread you've chosen. --P S Yライダー 23:51, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
Where would things like "Pokémon Battles" and "How to use A IV calculator" fall under? Oh and please don't assume that I have used something like this before, I haven't Truthseeker4449 23:58, 13 August 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure what you mean by the first section, but Veekun.com has an IV calculator with instructions on how to use it. --P S Yライダー 02:10, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

Orre - Main Series or not

I have a hard time accepting the fact that Orre is a "main series" region. There are many reasons why Orre shouldn't be listed there with the other 6 regions. I am sure there are many reasons why, but I feel like it doesn't fit in with the other regions. Can you please explain to me how it is? If you want I can give you reasons why. Han Ji-Wan 01:15, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

Okay, so maybe it is a part of the main series category, but I strongly feel that it shouldn't be labled in the same category as Kanto, Hoenn and other similar regions. Han Ji-Wan 01:18, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
The way I see it, it's about connectivity and game style. Orre connects to the rest of the games, just like GSC can connect to RBY, or DPPT to HGSS. It has the inter connectivity to other games. It's also played the same way as the other games, as a person. Just because it's just on a different console, doesn't mean it's any less the same as the others. That's just my seeing it. --P S Yライダー 02:10, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
Didn't we sort this out ages ago on the forums? We decided that there were three series: main series, side series and spin-off. We decided that Orre was a side series region, just as Pokémon Colosseum and XD were side series games. --SnorlaxMonster 02:19, 14 August 2011 (UTC)
I thought we did. But I'm just confused more than ever. I don't know why I, or someone else, didn't change it after coming to an agreement. Should we change it now? Han Ji-Wan 02:29, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

Stadium 2 Rentals

Can I pitch in on the rentals? I'm longing for something to do. :) --rockersk08 05:05, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Yes :D I'm not currently editing it so go for it. 8D --P S Yライダー 05:06, 18 August 2011 (UTC)
I was looking at my Stadium cartridge earlier tonight and I noticed that there were move differences between the cups. That will have to be noted. Probably tomorrow when I get home from class, I'll jump on as much as possible. --rockersk08 06:09, 30 August 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I didn't know that at first, so I made separate pages, This page for Lv. 50 ones, and this page for the Lv. 100's. \o/ --P S Yライダー 14:36, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

Guwiki

There is also a Guigi that I'm not sure about Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 20:49, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

Guigi isn't related to the other two. --P S Yライダー 20:49, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Stadium 1 rentals

I see that you moved the page to the Prime Cup rentals, eh? Well, I thought I should tell you I was getting my information from the Free Battles area in the game. I don't know if they're different from each other, and I'll check asap, but I just thought I'd let you know. ^-^ Littlmiget123 20:46, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I was creeping around and saw he posted that on your page about the proper names, and it's alright, I didn't know that there were two different set sets either, for 50 and 100, and whatever God knows is in between them. I *think* free battle is the 100. --P S Yライダー 20:48, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Reverted a minor edit

Hi, you reverted the edit I made on Forretress, why? I've seen many pages where it says what Generation they were introduced in, for example Gallade and Bayleef. Just want to say that I did the edit in good faith and intended no harm. :) Have a good day!

--Phil832 14:18, 2 September 2011 (UTC)

Hello, sorry about that. I reverted it because in the pages I had looked up like on Roserade, Togekiss, Suicune and Roselia, they didn't have that which brought up an issue, because some of them did have that and some of them didn't and I wanted to bring it up with my fellow admins for a decision on if the generational debut should be on there or not. Sorry about that though. --P S Yライダー 15:15, 2 September 2011 (UTC)
You don't have to be sorry about that. :) Yeah, making the pages consistently seems good, thank you for explaining. If there's anything I can do to help just tell me, I would love adding/removing 500 generational debuts. ^^
