Greetings, Bulbapedians. My name, according to the top of this page is The dark lord trombonator. But please, let's leave the formalities out of this. You can just call me trom.
I'm an administrator here, and a member of the Editorial Board. I guess that means that sometimes I'm allowed to make decisions about how things get run. More probably, it means you can pester me if you want something done.
When I edit here I generally don't stick to a specific area. In fact, it would more seem that there are areas I don't stick to. You're likely to find me editing articles on the games, locations, anime, and (from time to time) manga; I fiddle around with templates and coding, too, and will always step in to resolve any kind of dispute.
So, if you've got any concerns or complaints about anything—including my editing!—feel free to bring that up on my talk page.
| I'm a kiwi, born and bred. No, not the fruit: I'm from New Zealand. And no, I don't live in a hut or wear a grass skirt. Thanks for asking.
When you can find me away from Bulbapedia, I'm usually doing one of two things. Hmm... okay, three things. I'm studying towards a degree in Mathematics and Psychology at a university that gives me free internet, but also spend some time playing my beloved bass trombone, and working in a chocolate factory. Yes, that's right a chocolate factory. Go figure.

my role in the pokémon fandom
|
| I apologise in advance for the misleading section title. At this stage of my life, I don't have a lot to do with the various Pokémon media. I don't watch the anime (hell, it doesn't even air here on free TV); I don't read the manga or play the TCG. I do have Diamond and FireRed, though, so I guess that counts for something, even if the games are rather unplayed at the moment. I'm avidly awaiting the New Zealand release of HeartGold and SoulSilver, though I'm not sure which one I want to get yet.
And no, I don't have wifi. Don't ask for a battle 'coz you won't get one.

Leaving a note for me on my talk page is usually the best way to get a hold of me. If you want to discuss something vaguely private, an email would be nice. Alternatively you could leave me a private message on the Bulbagarden Forums. I do have AIM, but I'd prefer to keep that address my little secret. Maybe I'll give it to you, if you give me enough cookies. I do enjoy a nice chocolate chip....
