(Japanese: カノコタウン Kanoko Town) is situated in the southeastern part of the Isshu region. It is where the protagonists of the Generation V games Pokémon Black and White start their journeys. It is also the hometown of the player and their friends Bel and Cheren.

Professor Araragi's laboratory is located here.

The town features the same windmills that appear in New Bark Town in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

In the anime

Kanoko Town made its appearance in BW001. Part of it is shown to have a harbor and airport tower with an airport. Professor Araragi's lab is located here with a variety of Pokémon living there. Kanoko Town also has houses and shops.

Ash, Delia and Prof. Oak arrived by airplane, and were greeted by Professor Araragi. Soon afterward, Ash left Kanoko Town to begin his journey in Isshu.

Shooti's hometown is known to be Kanoko Town.
