Eternal Battle Reverie (Japanese: 夢天連戦 Heavenly Reverie Battles) is a challenge introduced in the Version 1.1.0 updated of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It is a continuous series of successive battles that only ends when the player loses or quits.

This challenge is available after completing Request 102: Daybreak. After completing the request, when the player walks by their quarters, the Arc Phone will ring, prompting them to enter their quarters and go to sleep. Upon going to sleep, the player will dream of being at the Hall of Origin, with Arceus before them, who will invite the player to test their luck and skill.

Wishes

During this challenge, the player will not be allowed to access items from their satchel, and their Pokémon will not be automatically healed between battles. Instead, after every battle, the player will earn points, which can be used to make wishes. The amount of points earned varies between different opponents.

  • Restore HP (10, increases by 10 each use)
  • Restore PP (30, increases by 10 each use)
  • Choose different opponents (10)
  • Change lead Pokémon (2)
  • Inflict poison/frostbite/burn (2)
  • Inflict paralysis/drowsiness (5)
  • Sacrifice HP for double points (2)

Opponents

Before each battle, Arceus presents the player with three of the listed options. The opponent(s) that the player will face depends directly on this choice. Arceus will tell the player how many points can be earned from this battle before confirming their choice.

The difficulty of opponents gradually increases as the player progresses through their streak. At the beginning, opponents will be capped at Lv. 80. Starting from the 11th battle, opponents will be capped at Lv. 90. And from the 21st battle onward, opponents may reach Lv. 100. On the 50th battle, the player will only have the one choice of battling Arceus itself.
