ゥ, (Japanese: ふイヂ Fuiji) the small katakana for u, is a Glitch Pokémon in Pokémon Red and Blue. It is also often refered to as the "Japanese symbol" Pokémon by those who don't know any Katakana. Little is known about it except that it can only be encountered by either using the Mew Glitch or by using a GameShark device. It will freeze the game upon encounter.
Details
It has an identification number of 205, and is of the Normal- and Template:Type2s. It evolves into Spearow at Level 9, but if its Pokédex entry is viewed after capture, it reverts to Rhydon. It is known to cause graphical glitches upon capture, and sending it into battle will cause the game to freeze. When traded to Pokémon Yellow, it will become ♀, the female symbol Glitch Pokémon. It can learn the glitch move TM08, and the real move contained in TM08, Body Slam. It can only be obtained in the wild through method #3 of the Mew Glitch and having a Pokémon with a special stat of 193.
