ゥ, (Japanese: ふイヂ Fuiji) the small katakana for u, is a dual-type Normal/Ground Glitch Pokémon in Pokémon Red and Blue. It is also often referred to as the "Japanese symbol" Pokémon by those unfamiliar with Katakana writing system. Little is known about it except that it can only be encountered by either using the Mew Glitch or by using a GameShark device. It will freeze the game upon encounter, usually before the battle can even commence.
It has an identification number of 205 and evolves into Spearow at Level 9, but if its Pokédex entry is viewed after capture, it reverts to Rhydon. It is known to cause graphical glitches upon capture, and sending it into battle will cause the game to freeze. When traded to Pokémon Yellow, it will become ♀, the female symbol Glitch Pokémon. It can only be obtained in the wild through method #3 of the Mew Glitch and having a Pokémon with a special stat of 193.
