Walkthrough:Pokémon Diamond and Pearl/Part 5
These pages follow the original Nintendo DS iteration, not Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. The guide for those games can be found here.
Route 204

Route 204 runs north from Jubilife City to Floaroma Town. The uneven terrain forces travelers to pass through the Ravaged Path, a small tunnel that was excavated to connect the upper and lower areas.

Floaroma Town

Flower Shop
Located between Route 204 to the south and Route 205 to the east, Floaroma Town could be mistaken for one large flower garden. A sweet floral scent always hangs in the air, and a pathway through the north side of town leads to Floaroma Meadow, a sea of colorful blooms.

Pick a Peck of Colors Flower Shop
The Pick a Peck of Colors Flower Shop is located on the north side of town.
Accessories for Sale
A variety of Accessories may be purchased from the woman behind the counter. The shop offers its goods in exchange for specific quantities of certain Berry varieties.
A Berry a Day
The woman to the right of the entrance hosts a giveaway, in which she gives out one Berry per day to each visitor. There are five Berry varieties that may be obtained this way; the one received is determined randomly.

Let it Rain
The woman to the left of the entrance gives out a Sprayduck to each new visitor. This watering can allows the user to water any Berries planted in soft soil. If done correctly for a sufficient amount of time, this increases the number of Berries grown on a single plant.
No Entry!
A pair of Team Galactic Grunts is stationed in the northwest part of town, blocking the southern entrance to Floaroma Meadow for now.
Route 205 (Southwest)

Route 205 runs northeastward from Floaroma Town to Eterna City. A large wooded area, Eterna Forest, divides the area into two sections. The route also provides access to the Valley Windworks to the southeast and Fuego Ironworks to the northwest.

Captured!
When you approach the southern bridge, you are stopped by a little girl. She begs you to help her father, explaining that he works at the Valley Windworks but that "the people dressed like spacemen" will not let her inside.
On the way eastward, a pair of Team Galactic Grunts can be seen blocking the nearby bridge. They claim that the group is conducting research in Eterna Forest, which also involves catching Pokémon in Floaroma Meadow. The pair also reveals that Team Galactic has targeted the Valley Windworks for its power supply.
Valley Windworks

The Valley Windworks is a large power plant located to the east of Floaroma Town and Route 205. It uses a field of large windmills to harness energy from the wind and convert it into electricity.

Access Denied
Another Team Galactic Grunt can be found blocking the power plant entrance. Speak to him, and he states that he was ordered to allow only other Team Galactic members inside. It's clear to him that you intend to enter anyway, so he draws you into battle.
Defeated, the Grunt retreats into the building with the key, locking the door behind him. Before doing so, however, he reveals that his colleagues in Floaroma Meadow have a second key. Hurry back to Floaroma Town!
Floaroma Town

Back in Floaroma Town, the pair of Team Galactic Grunts that had blocked the north exit to Floaroma Meadow have gone, clearing the way to the flower patch beyond.
Floaroma Meadow
Floaroma Meadow is a massive field filled with colorful blooms, where a single building stands next to a golden-colored tree. The area can be also be accessed from the Fuego Ironworks to the north.

Save the Honey Salesman!
The pair of Team Galactic Grunts can now be found harassing a man in the meadow selling Honey. The Grunts reveal that the group intends to use the substance to attract Pokémon in great numbers. The pair then notices your presence, and draws you into battle.
After two back-to-back battles, the defeated Grunts flee to the Valley Windworks building. In their haste, they drop the second Works Key. The salesman picks it up, but hands it to you as he has no use for it. He thanks you for saving him, and rewards you with a jar of Honey. The man then resumes his Honey-selling business, offering single-use jars for $100 each.

| Using Honey to Attract Wild Pokémon
There are 21 gold-colored trees scattered across the Sinnoh region. When one of these trees is slathered with Honey, the sweet scent may eventually attract a wild Pokémon. Examine the tree again 6 real-life hours later to learn if a Pokémon has taken the bait! This is the only known way to encounter Munchlax. | |
Valley Windworks

Use the Works Key to unlock the door, and find the Grunt who had previously blocked it on the other side. Realizing that his efforts have failed, he rushes off to alert someone he refers to as "the Commander". Defeat the first Grunt at the west end of the hallway, and the second Grunt in the central room. Upon reaching the eastern room, you are stopped by a woman with red hair. She introduces herself as one of Team Galactic's three Commanders, who have been working to create what they view as a new and better world. However, she is saddened that people do not seem to understand their intentions. She then invites you to a battle to determine their next steps: if she wins, you must leave the building; if you win, Team Galactic will leave and abandon their plans for this place.
VS Mars
|
|
Angered at her defeat, Commander Mars nevertheless keeps her word, and Team Galactic leaves the building. A Scientist who was being held here then approaches you, and mentions that the group is determined to gather Pokémon and energy in order to create a new universe. Just then, the man's daughter rushes into the room. She thanks you for saving her father, and excitedly mentions how "the balloon Pokémon" might now visit again.
Float Like a... Balloon?
After Team Galactic flees the area, a wild Drifloon appears outside the Valley Windworks building every Friday. It is unclear if the appearance of this balloon-like Pokémon is related to the wind power generated here.
