Unlike previous visits to Valor Lakefront, there are no longer any guards posted here. Hurry through the trees to find out what has become of Lake Valor!
It takes only a few steps from the entrance to realize that something horrible has indeed happened to Lake Valor. All of the water from the lake has been completely dried up, leaving a muddy lakebed and stranded Magikarp! If spoken with, the first Galactic Grunt you pass seems ready to move on and do the same to Lake Verity. Follow the path southwestward, and be prepared to battle the second Galactic Grunt you pass. On the west side of the lakebed, another Grunt brags about their Galactic Bomb before drawing you into battle. Fight past a third Grunt to reach the entrance to the cavern, where another Grunt reveals that the legendary Pokémon are meant to be transported to the group's headquarters in Veilstone City.
Valor Cavern
Step inside the cavern to find one of Team Galactic's Commanders. Speak to him, and he soon recognizes you as the Trainer who raided the Galactic Eterna Building. He says that Jupiter should be ashamed of herself for being beaten by a child, and that even the thought of opposition must not be tolerated. He then draws you into battle.
Despite his defeat, Commander Saturn promises that Team Galactic will still acquire the three legendary Pokémon of the lakes, and use their power to create a new universe. He reveals that Commander Mars should have captured the Pokémon at Lake Verity by now, and disappears in an instant. Exit the cavern and Fly back to Twinleaf Town, rest your Pokémon at home if necessary, and hurry to Lake Verity!
Professor Rowan immediately notices your arrival. He warns you that these two Galactic Grunts are after the legendary Pokémon, and that Dawn/Lucas needs your help! Defeat the two pairs of Galactic Grunts to find Rowan's assistant off to the north, where she/he is being targeted by Commander Mars. Speak to Mars, who recognizes you from the Valley Windworks. Annoyed that you seemingly do not remember her, she reintroduces herself before drawing you into battle.
After the battle, Mars shrugs off her loss, as her mission to transport the lake's Pokémon to the team's headquarters is complete. She then reveals that because of the explosion at Lake Valor, a cavern appeared here in the middle of Lake Verity. When Mesprit emerged from the cavern to help its friends, it was quickly captured. Mars brags that Team Galactic now has all three Pokémon: Mesprit, "the Being of Emotion"; Azelf, "the Being of Willpower"; and Uxie, "the Being of Intelligence". With all three, the team's plans can advance to the next phase. Mars and her subordinates disappear in an instant, leaving you, Rowan, and Dawn/Lucas to make sense of these events. Rowan is relieved that neither of you are hurt, but wonders about Barry's wellbeing at Lake Acuity, as Uxie's capture means that his mission there has failed.
Reaching the third lake will be no easy feat, as you must first venture through Mt. Coronet and the snowbanks of Routes 216 and 217. Be sure to prepare well for the harsh terrain ahead; after exiting the mountain, you may experience blizzard conditions, where falling hail damages all non-Ice-type Pokémon during battle. From this point, either Fly to Eterna City and go eastward, or Fly to Celestic Town and move westward, to reach the northern part of Mt. Coronet.

The sacred Mt. Coronet is the tallest mountain in Sinnoh, and part of a mountain range that divides the region in half. Due to its scale, an extensive tunnel system was developed in order to facilitate travel, and now connects many important cities together.
When approaching from the west entrance, begin by using Rock Smash and Strength to find TM69 (Rock Polish) above a ledge to the north. When approaching from the east entrance, start by collecting the Escape Rope to the south. Afterward, pick up whichever of the two items remains, then move a second boulder near the east entrance to continue northward. Use Rock Smash again to reach the Rare Candy in the dead-end tunnel to the west. Continue northward, then turn west and walk down the stairs.

The lower level is filled with mist; though not required to continue, Defog can be used to improve visibility. Use Rock Smash to collect the Stardust in the corner, then turn northward. Walk down the nearest stairway and use Surf to reach a Light Clay near the largest rock outcropping, then grab the Max Elixir on the water's northeast shore. A Revive and a Full Restore can be found on the upper level in the northeast part of the chamber. Turn west, and be sure to collect the Soft Sand on the middle level before climbing the stairs to the north.
The Elusive Feebas
This underground lake is the only place where wild Feebas can be found. The fish Pokémon can be very difficult to locate, as it will only appear in four separate spots and must be reeled in with a fishing rod. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to identify these four spots, as the only solution is to drop a line in each part of the lake. In addition, the location of these spots changes every day. Once found, Feebas should prove to be an easy capture. Similar to how the "pathetic" Magikarp evolves into the powerful Gyarados, the "shabby" Feebas eventually evolves into Milotic, a Pokémon famous for its beauty.
