Summary

Richie is a Pokémon Trainer of average height whose adventures began in the Kanto region in the year 2000, during the peak of PokéMania. Having faced gym leaders, elite trainers, champions, and many teams of ill repute - Richie continues to exhibit his love for Pokémon in all aspects of his life. Richie grew up with a somewhat eccentric, hyperactive personality but endured certain traumas that have caused him to become more guarded, high-strung, and prickly. Due to this, he relates with the Pokémon Totodile, which is known for its playful demeanour that can turn unintentionally vicious. He has a strong sense of justice. He uses his love of Pokémon and fantasies of an Alolan lifestyle to relax. While socially inept, Richie cares deeply for a select few people and for the Pokémon with whom he has travelled. His hobbies include training Pokémon, researching Pokémon, photography, blending reality and fantasy, art, and model miniatures.
