The Rebel Clash Build & Battle Box was a special product made to cater for Prerelease Tournaments for the Rebel Clash expansion. These tournaments were set to be held on the two weekends prior to the release of the expansion: April 18-19 and 25-26, 2020; however, all official Play! Pokémon events were canceled from March 17, 2020 due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] Retailers in the Prerelease Program still received the boxes and were allowed to begin selling them from April 18, with a wider retail release on May 1, 2020.
Each box also included four random Supporter cards from the following (five if the Flapple or Coalossal group was enclosed), with no more than two copies of a particular card.
