The Electric Gem (Japanese: でんきのジュエル Electric Jewel ) is a type of held item introduced in Generation V . It is one of the Gems and is an unobtainable held item in Generation VI onwards.
In the core series games Price Effect Generation V When held by a Pokémon, it increases the power of the first Electric-type move used by 50%, and is consumed after use.
Fling will fail if the user is holding an Electric Gem.
Generation VI onward When held by a Pokémon, it increases the power of the first Electric-type move used by 30%, and is consumed after use.
