Goh's Raichu (Japanese: ゴウライチュウ Go's Raichu) is the thirtieth Pokémon that Goh obtained in the Kanto region, and his fifty-ninth overall
History
In Gotta Catch a What?!, Goh decides that he wants to capture a Pikachu. When Goh arrives at the location suggested by Professor Cerise, after losing a few attempts, a female Pikachu approaches him and offers Berry to Goh. As soon as she starts interacting with Raboot, Sobble and Ash's Pikachu, Goh captures her.
Soon after, Pikachu takes them to a place where other wild Pikachu start to evolve, when they find a Thunderstone, she offers it to Ash's Pikachu, who refuses. And Goh decides to keep the evolutionary stone,
When Team Rocket attacks all wild Pikachu, leaving only Goh's Pikachu behind, Pikachu asks Thunderstone who was with Goh so she can evolve and destroy one of Team Rocket's mechas, because of its larger size. Finally, they all come together with the Pikachu and Raichu of the forest. and defeat them. At the Cerise Laboratory, Goh presents his new Pokémon while Raichu delivered several Berry to the other Pokémon in the place.
In JN053, after saving a Suicune from a group of Pokémon hunters, Goh uses Raichu alongside Sobble to search in the forest for some Berries. While searching, Raichu helps Goh to capture a wild Drowzee. Upon returning, Raichu gave Suicune some Berries that Goh had collected in order to help heal it
In JN070, during a confrontation between Goh's Greedent and Morpeko, Raichu hands the two a huge amount of Berry to calm them down. Goh takes advantage of this to try to capture Morpeko, but the capture fails. Soon after, Raichu is seen helping Goh to feed the other Pokémon.
Personality and characteristics
Raichu is a very docile and friendly Pokémon, whenever she finds some Berry and other items she offers for other people and Pokémon, most notably for Pikachu. Even when they refuse, she is insistent on offering something to others. Raichu has a special affection for Ash's Pikachu, either interacting with him while eating, or giving items specifically to him.
When Team Rocket captured the other wild Pikachu, it volunteered to evolve itself so that it could save them. During the time when his friends were imprisoned, Pikachu showed a great deal of care for them. Being a key player in their rescue.
Raichu's knowledge of Berries proved useful when Goh decides to take her to find the necessary ones to cure the newly captured Suicune of Goh who had been badly injured after an encounter with a gang of Pokémon Hunters.
