Stone Axe (Japanese: がんせきアックス Stone Axe) is a damage-dealing Rock-type move introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. It is the signature move of Kleavor.
Effect
Generation VIII
Stone Axe inflicts damage and has an increased critical-hit ratio. It also leaves the target with splinters for 4 turns (Strong Style), 2 turns (Agile Style), or 3 turns (otherwise).
|
Generation IX
Stone Axe inflicts damage and sets up Stealth Rock on the target's side of the field. If used by a Pokémon with Sharpness, its power is increased by 50%. It does not have an increased critical-hit ratio.
Description
|
According to Poké Portal News, the erroneous description in Scarlet and Violet stating that the move has an increased critical-hit ratio will be amended in a future update.
