(Japanese: リキシータウン Rikishii Town) is an anime-exclusive location in Johto. It is located in between Ecruteak City and Olivine City. It was featured in Ring Masters.
The town's main attraction is a Sumo Conference involving Pokémon facing off against each other. Ash used the local Pokémon Center to have his Snorlax transferred to Rikishii Town so he could compete. He then entered the competition against the defending champion Raiden and his Feraligatr. It defeated Raiden's Feraligatr, and Ash received a King's Rock for his victory.
Trivia
- Rikishi is Japanese for "Sumo Wrestler".
- It is never referred to by name in the dub, but instead as "a quaint little village".
