===Rescue Points===
{{incomplete|section|needs=DX Info}}
In Red and Blue Rescue Team, the amount of Rescue Points gained from completing a mission depends on the difficulty rating, which depends on dungeon's hidden difficulty value; longer dungeons will increase this value as missions take on later floors. Additionally, an escort mission adds 2 to the value. E-rank missions have a white letter, D- and C-rank missions have a green letter, B- and A-rank missions have a blue letter, and S-rank missions have a red letter. The amount of Poké mentioned in job description is dependent on rank itself, starting with 100 Poké at E and increasing by 100 for each rank.

In Rescue Team DX, the amount of Rescue Points gained also depends on the difficulty rating and the floor on which the mission is completed. On higher floor numbers, the Rescue Points and money gained will increase above the base values given for each difficulty rating in the table below. Specifically, missions that are completed on floors 10F-19F yield +100 Rescue Points and +200 Poké above the base value, and missions that are completed on floors 20F-29F yield +130 Rescue Points and +320 Poké above the base value. Escort missions vary slightly in that missions completed on higher floor numbers may be given a lower difficulty rating than missions on lower floor numbers, but the conversion from difficulty rating to Rescue Points and Poké remains the same.

Master Rank is the highest rank in Explorers of Time and Darkness. However, in Explorers of Sky, the ranks from Super to Master (as well as Silver) are easier to obtain, and four ranks were introduced above it, but they cannot be unlocked until the player has rescued Scizor and obtained the Secret Rank. The highest obtainable rank in Sky is the Guildmaster Rank.

The first four rank-ups allow the player to take on new types of missions.

===Paradise Points===
In [[Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon]] expedition points are gained by completing expeditions rather than jobs, and are used to raise the expedition rank by checking the [[nexus]] when the required amount of points are reached.
Paradise Points are obtained through completing missions. The amount of points gained from completing a mission depends on the difficulty rating, which in turn depends on several factors, including the type of mission and the dungeon in which the mission is to take place.

In the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series, teams have a rank that reflects the skill level of the team. Ranks are increased by completing various kinds of jobs.

Rescue Ranks

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, Rescue Teams have an associated rank that is increased by earning Rescue Points.

Red and Blue Rescue Team

Reaching Lucario rank also earns the player a Lucario Figure for their Team Base.

Rescue Points

Exploration Ranks

In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Exploration Teams have an associated rank that is increased by earning Rank Points.
