(Japanese: ポケモンカードGB2~GR団参上!オフィシャルガイドブック Pokémon Card GB2: Here Comes Team GR! Official Guidebook) is a strategy guide for Pokémon Trading Card Game 2: The Invasion of Team GR! on the Game Boy Color. It also contains an overview for rules of the TCG in general. It was authored by the Pokémon Card Trainers' Editorial Department (ポケモンカードトレーナーズ編集部) under the supervision of Creatures, Inc.. Copies of the book included a Dark Fearow promotional card.

Content

Aside from the main chapters there are also three columns spread out through the guide. They cover quotes by in-game characters, in-battle attack animations, and the Pokémon TCG around the world.

Deck Building Guide

The Deck Building Guide is the opening section of the book, introducing the reader to the principles of deck construction. It explains restrictions, such as the number of the same cards that may be included, and offers strategies based on type Weaknesses/Resistance and different cards that may work well together.

Story Strategy Guide

This section contains a walkthrough of the Pokémon Card GB2 video game. It covers both islands found in the game, TCG Island and GR Island; including strategies for dueling major opponents such as the Club Masters and Fort Leaders. It also contains supplementary material such as a guide to the Challenge Machines and trading with Mr. Ishihara.

Card Collection Guide

This section provides an in-depth guide to the various methods of obtaining cards in the game, as well as a list of which cards are found in each in-game expansion set. Additionally, it lists all the promo cards found in the game and where to obtain them, a guide to all the in-game trades, and details on how to obtain every Coin in the game.

Fun Guide

The Fun Guide contains information on all the activities found in the Game Center. It also contains information on Card Pop!, dueling other players via Game Link Cable, compatibility with the Game Boy Printer, information on in-game characters based on real people, information about cards which were created for the Game Boy Color game but are obtainable in real life, information on the previous game, and deck configurations used by the creators of the game.
