The Pokémon World is a planet in which only Pokémon live. It is seperate from the world in which the main games and anime take place, although travel between the two worlds seems possible. Pokémon live in pleasant areas called Friend Areas or Pokémon Square.
There are apparently no humans in the world at all, however humans are often talked about or referenced to, throughout the game. With this absense of humans, it is unknown how Pokémon like Porygon or Castform came about.
