It first aired on June 21, 2020. It was originally scheduled to air in Japan on May 10, 2020, but was delayed to due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

• Ash and Goh visit Kalos, with Goh visiting the region for the first time.
• Ash meets up with Korrina and Gurkinn again, while Goh meets them for the first time.
• Korrina's Mienfoo is revealed to have evolved into Mienshao.
• Goh catches a Binacle, a Scatterbug, a Phantump, a Fletchling, and four Flabébé.
• Goh learns about Mega Evolution.
• Ash's Dragonite is revealed know Hyper Beam.
• Ash has a rematch with Korrina in a World Coronation Series battle and wins, bringing his rank to 921 and rising him to the Super Class.

• An announcer, Kasuking, Pikachu, and Raboot narrate the preview for the next episode.
• Dragonite used a spinning Dragon Dance to deflect attacks is very similar to the [Counter Shield] technique. However Ash did not explicitely refer to it as such.
