Grassy Terrain (Japanese: グラスフィールド Grass Field) is a non-damaging Grass-type move introduced in Generation VI.

Effect

Grassy Terrain restores the HP and increases the power of Grass-type moves by 50% of any Pokémon on the ground for five turns. Grassy Terrain does not affect Flying-type Pokémon, those with the Ability Levitate, or Pokémon holding an Air Balloon.

If Grassy Terrain is in effect, Nature Power becomes Energy Ball, Secret Power uses the animation of Vine Whip and may cause sleep, and Camouflage causes the user to become Grass-type.

Grassy Terrain also activates the Ability Grass Pelt.

Description

Games Description
The user turns the ground under everyone's feet to grass for five turns. This restores the HP of Pokémon on the ground a little every turn.
