Regice (Japanese: レジアイス Regice; German: Regice; French: Regice) is an Ice-type Pokémon.

Regice's body was made during an ice age. The deep-frozen body can't be melted, even by fire. This pokémon conrols frigid air of minus 328 degrees F.

Pokémon Sapphire

Regice cloaks itself with frigid air of negative 328 degrees F. Things will freeze solid just by going near this pokémon. Its icy body is so sold, it will not melt even if it is immersed in magma

Pokémon Firered & Pokémon Leafgreen

Research revealed that its body is made of the same kind of ice that is found at the South Pole.

Name origin

Regice's name is a combination of regi, which is Latin for king, and ice.

This Pokémon is based on the golems of Hebrew legend. The legends cast them as servants of higher powers and are said to have writing on their heads. When the writing is removed, the creature would be weakened.
