The Rotom Catalog allows the player to change the form of a Rotom.

In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, Rotom must have been in a form at least once to unlock that form in the Rotom Catalog. In Pokémon Sword and Shield and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, all forms are already unlocked upon receiving the item.
