Effect
Held item
If the holder's stats are lowered in battle, it will consume its Ginema Berry and raise the lowered stats.
The player will not be permitted to enter the Pokémon Cable Club Trade Center if a Pokémon in their party is holding this Berry. A Pokémon holding this Berry cannot be traded to Pokémon Colosseum or Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, nor can it be stored in Pokémon Box Ruby & Sapphire.
If held by a Pokémon transferred through Pal Park to the Generation IV games, it will become an Enigma Berry.

Appearance
Trivia
- The White Herb, also introduced in Generation III, has a similar effect to the Ginema Berry - but is unaffected by Berry-affecting moves and abilities, such as Pluck and Unnerve. As a result, the Ginema Berry was already largely redundant when it was introduced.
Origin
The Ginema Berry's design and name may be based on a タマネギ (Tamanegi) (onion).
