Fortree City
Template:Infobox town Fortree City (Japanese: ヒワマキシティ Hiwamaki City) is located approximately between Mauville and Lilycove in the Hoenn region. West of Fortree City is Route 119 and the Weather Institute. East is Route 120 and the Safari Zone beyond that. The city's motto is "The Treetop City that Frolics with Nature."
The inhabitants of Fortree City live in treehouses. Residents of Fortree City get around by a system of rope bridges that hang in the treetops. Because of the physical exercise needed for such a lifestyle, everyone is healthy and lively. By preserving the natural environment in the area, people are able to live closer to wild Pokémon than in other towns. Sometimes wild Template:Type2 Pokémon fly in through windows, and wild Kecleon will block certain paths in the city. The extensive rainwater in the area saturates the soil and causes the trees to grow tall. This is how Fortree City's trees get so large.
