Trainer Hill (Japanese: トレーナーヒル Trainer Hill), located just north of Mauville City, on Route 111, is a Pokémon Emerald-exclusive location. Much like the Trainer Tower in the Sevii Islands, Trainer Hill is a tower designed for trainers to race and battle through quickly.
In the Japanese version, Pokémon Battle Card e+ may be scanned in to change the floor design and opponent trainers. The last seven scanned trainers inhabit the tower, and the item won for a completing Trainer Hill quickly varies based on which opponents are in the tower.
Trainers scanned from e+ cards appear on four kinds of Trainer Card, denoting their difficulty level: green, copper, silver, and gold. If a trainer's card has three Poké Ball symbols on the right of their belt, they will Double Team with a trainer who has their Poké Ball symbols on the left of their belt.
