The Riverbank Cave (Japanese: 河岸の空洞 Riverbank Hollow) is a type of hideaway seen in the Grand Underground. It can only be accessed after the player obtains the Explorer Kit in Eterna City from the Underground Man, and features Pokemon that roam the cave freely, instead of being found in Tall grass.
Geography
Riverbank Caves are grassy caverns with several ponds around their edges, which can be Surfed on to encounter Pokémon visible in the water. Some rocks and trees are taller than the player, and must be navigated around.
