Infiltrator (Japanese: すりぬけ Slip Through) is an Ability introduced in Generation V.
Effect
In battle
Generation V
Moves used by a Pokémon with Infiltrator bypass the effects of targets' Reflect, Light Screen, Safeguard, and Mist.
Generation VI onward
Moves used by a Pokémon with Infiltrator also bypass the effects of targets' Aurora Veil.
Moves used by a Pokémon with Infiltrator, except Transform and Sky Drop, also bypass the effects of targets' substitutes.
Outside of battle
In Generation VIII, if a Pokémon with Infiltrator is in the first place in the party (even if fainted), the chance of encountering a wild Pokémon is decreased by 50%. It shares this effect with Stench, White Smoke and Quick Feet.
Pokémon with Infiltrator
- In the Generation V games, Litwick, Lampent, and Chandelure have Shadow Tag instead of Infiltrator as their Hidden Ability. However, it is impossible to obtain them with their Hidden Ability in Generation V.
