Trinity poses

Trinity (Japanese: タカミ Takami) is a character of the day in who appeared in The Perfect Match, she was one of the competitors in the Whirl Cup Competition.

Trinity is a polite, level-headed, strong Water Pokémon Trainer. She finds Misty soon after their win against Ash in the competition, impressed with her performance, she decides to personally meet Misty. She beat out Misty in the third round after a tough battle but lost in the finals and gained second place.

At the end of the episode, she appears next to Ash, Misty and Brock talking about his decision to improve your skills with water Pokémon for the competition in the next year.

Trinity also appears in a cameo in the next episode and also in Espeon, Not Included in a flashback when Misty says about her experiences since the last meeting with Sakura.

Pokémon

Gyarados
Trinity's Gyarados

Trinity's Gyarados was the first Pokémon Trinity used in her battle against Misty and her Poliwhirl in the Whirl Cup. Misty orders Poliwhirl to use BubbleBeam but Gyarados charges up a Hyper Beam stopping the BubbleBeam and KO-ing Poliwhirl. Misty decides to send out Corsola next, Trinity commands Gyarados to use Hydro Pump. Gyarados fires a powerful stream of water but Misty tells Corsola to counter it with Mirror Coat. The Hydro Pump is sent back but Gyarados fires Hyper Beam, blowing the water away and still going straight for Corsola. Corsola dives down and the beam blows up behind her. Waiting a while, Misty finishes Gyarados off with Spike Cannon amazingly fainting it

Gyarados's known moves are Hyper Beam and Hydro Pump.

Chinchou

Trinity's Chinchou was the second Pokémon Trinity used in her battle against Misty and her Corsola in the Whirl Cup. Golduck
Trinity's Golduck

Trinity's Golduck was the Pokémon Trinity used in her battle against a Pokémon Trainer and his Feraligatr in the finals of the Whirl Cup. But before the battle can begin Team Rocket appear and nab Pikachu, Pikachu is able to break the line and Golduck along with Ash's Totodile, Misty's Poliwhirl and the trainer's Feraligatr all use Water Gun to send Team Rocket blasting off. The outcome of the battle means that Golduck lost.

Golduck's only known move is Water Gun.
