Pokémon world locations

Rainbow Dais (Japanese: にじのさいだん Rainbow Altar) is a location in Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs.

The dais underwater with the grail

The dais is first seen underwater at the start of the game after the player has been shot down by the Pokémon Pinchers. After falling underwater and losing their Capture Styler, they chase a Mantyke to obtain it back. The Mantyke then ends up leaving it at the dais, where the player picks it up before they move away because of the approaching submarine.

Later in the game, the player is asked take part in the Rainbow Ceremony, playing the part of the Hero of Oblivia, by placing the Rainbow Grail on the dais in Cocona Village. However, both the grail and the dais are revealed to be fakes, as the real grail is much more difficult to obtain and no one knows where the real dais is.

After the player goes through a series of tests to obtain the real Rainbow Grail in Rasp Cavern, they are able to work out the location of the real dais with help from the Capture Styler's Voice Nav. After placing the grail on the dais, the dais lifts up to the sky, where Ho-Oh comes to challenge the player. In order to continue the storyline, players must use the Ranger Sign that appears after the battle to get Ho-Oh to destroy the barrier surrounding the Sky Fortress. Using the Ranger Sign again here at the dais later on allows players to battle Ho-Oh once again.
