Wandering Spirit (Japanese: さまようたましい Wandering Spirit) is an Ability introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature Ability of Galarian Yamask and Runerigus.

In battle
When a Pokémon with this Ability is hit by a contact move, it will switch Abilities between it and the target. It does not work on Wonder Guard.
The new Ability will trigger even if the user has fainted from the move.
Wandering Spirit will not activate on a Dynamaxed or Gigantamaxed Pokémon.
Outside of battle
It is unknown if Wandering Spirit has an effect outside of battle.
