Ash's Noibat (Japanese: サトシのオンバット Satoshi's Onbat) is the fifth Pokémon that Ash caught in the Kalos region.
History
In A Not-So-Flying Start!, Noibat was in its Egg when it was first found by Hawlucha, who was doing training exercises. The Wrestling Pokémon brought the Egg back to Ash and his friends, where it was about to hatch. In response, Ash, Pikachu, Fletchinder, Hawlucha, Bonnie, Dedenne, Pancham and Chespin covered the Egg to keep it warm whilst it hatched, with Fletchinder using its Flame Body Ability to help.
When it hatched, Noibat first saw Ash and was introduced to him and his Pokémon. Noibat was very stressed out, so it let out a powerful Supersonic attack, hurting everyone's ears. - Noibat is the only Kalos Pokémon currently owned by Ash that is not weak to Electric-type attacks.
- Noibat took the shortest time to hatch out of all of the Pokémon owned by the main cast that hatched from Eggs, with the Egg being ready to hatch before being given to its Trainer.
- Out of all of Ash's Pokémon that hatched from eggs, Noibat knew the least amount of moves in its debut with only one.
