Trainer's Choice

The notes aren't saying that other Pokemon would be better choices, just that other Pokemon would also have a (type) advantage over whatever the Pokemon is in question. As for Nuzleaf, it's still a Grass type going up against a Fire type, so it is still in no way would be an effective choice against Camerupt.--ForceFire 07:17, 22 May 2022 (UTC)

(Replying here in case it’s bulbapedia’s policy to keep conversations in one place like SmashWiki) The Trainer’s Choice is asking for the best choice. Not which one is an effective choice. Therefore, it never really felt like Nuzleaf vs Camerupt is incorrect.

Again, the notes aren't saying that the other effective choices would be better, just that there are other choices that would be an effective choice. And there's no question that Nuzleaf, a Grass type, is weak against Camerupt, a Fire type. And these questions are only taking types matchups to account, not stats or possible moves, because 4kids knew nothing.--ForceFire 10:10, 22 May 2022 (UTC)

Berries / past tense

(Regarding these kinds of edits.) You're right, I didn't realize that it was Generation V which only had the Dream World available to grow Berries. (In virtually all other cases in which the tense is being changed for older generations, my argument stands and makes sense, so I guess that was why, but here, it's truely a thing of the past, and I should've checked.) Thanks for being adamant, and thanks for pointing that out in the edit summaries. Nescientist (talk) 12:31, 19 February 2023 (UTC)

Blue's Vaporeon/Flareon in Yellow

According to this editor back in 2018, they did two separate playthroughs where they lost the first battle and won the second battle, with both playthroughs resulting in a Vaporeon. PokemonMasterJamal3 (talk) 03:25, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

Party template colors

When changing the main color of a party template with two rows of Pokémon (i.e. if the Trainer in question has at least four Pokémon), don't forget to also change the color of the divider template to match. Thank you. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:39, 17 August 2024 (UTC)

This occurred again during your edit on Phenac Stadium. Personally, I support the older color scheme, so I feel it should be restored. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 08:32, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
I prefer dark text on light backgrounds and vice versa instead of fark text on dark backgrounds and light text on light backgrounds which is why I like to change them Pikmin 3 Wii U 12:54, 20 August 2024 (UTC)
That is an understandable logic, but I feel that in the case of Cipher Admins, the core of their templates, where almost all of the text is, is colored in a different way that makes the text there easily readable. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 13:36, 20 August 2024 (UTC)

BW022

The reason why I changed "revealed to own" back to "revealed to have obtained" is because we saw Trip starting his journey, so it's a Pokémon that was obtained since then. Trainers who debuted midway through their journeys can have owned the Pokémon they use in their later appearances since before their debut, hence why the wording "revealed to own" fits them better. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 14:11, 29 August 2024 (UTC)

"Revealed to have obtained" implies to me the trainer caught the Pokémon AFTER their last physical appearance. In BW010, Trip is revealed to have caught five new Pokémon, but only Tranquill and Frillish are seen. In BW022, he is seen with a Lampent and in BW031, he is seen with a Timburr and a Vanillite. Maybe he caught them after BW010 but I always feel like he caught them before. Pikmin 3 Wii U 15:03, 29 August 2024 (UTC)
Whether he caught those Pokémon before his first rematch with Ash or after it, we cannot be sure of. Thank you for respecting my opinion though and restoring the older version. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 17:37, 29 August 2024 (UTC)

Kukui's sixth Pokémon

There is a section for Kukui's sixth Pokémon because this type of information is on all pages with similar situations, from Professor Birch to Damian. It is not exclusive to Kukui's page, and it would be nice if you talked to someone before removing information that you are not sure why is there.--Hikaru Wazana (talk) 02:23, 18 September 2024 (UTC)
