Places of Interest

Dewford Hall

Although it is a tiny island community, if someone says something "trendy" there, it quickly spreads throughout the rest of Hoenn. Dewford Town is famous for these fads. Trendy phrases are usually passed around in Dewford Hall, called "Everyone's information exchange!" There is a boy just outside Dewford Hall that lets the player change the "trendy" phase and people in Dewford Hall will be influenced by the trend.

Dewford Gym

Main article: Dewford Gym

Dewford is the home of the Dewford Gym, run by Brawly. Dewford Town is home to Brawly, the Dewford Gym Leader who specializes in Fighting-type Pokémon. Many citizens look up to Brawly and idolize him.

Trivia

  • Dewford is geographically the southernmost known establishment in the Pokémon world so far.
  • This is also one of the three cities in Hoenn without a Poké Mart, Littleroot Town and Pacifidlog Town being the others.
  • By changing the "trendy" phase at Dewford Hall, the six tiles of water on Route 119 where Feebas live will change.
  • Like Chuck, the leader of the Cianwood Gym, Brawly of Dewford Gym specializes in Fighting-type Pokémon. Furthermore, both Gyms are on an island to the southwest of their respective regions, and neither town has a Poké Mart.
