Soundproof (Japanese: ぼうおん Soundproof) is an ability introduced in Generation III. Twelve Pokémon have this Ability.

Effect

In battle

Soundproof prevents all effect from sound moves, granting the user immunity from them. Also, a sleeping Pokémon with this Ability cannot be woken with a Poké Flute in FireRed and LeafGreen.
