Back to Jubilife
After Oreburgh has been finished, the player should go back to Jubilife City to continue your adventure.
Oreburgh Gate Basement
Now that you have the ability to use Rock Smash outside of battle you'll be able to smash the small rocks on the main floor of the Oreburgh to descend to the basement. For the moment you'll only be able to collect the TM for the former HM move Flash, but if you come back later with the bike, as well as the HM moves Surf and Strength (after collecting the fifth and sixth Badges that are required to use them outside of battle) you'll be able to collect the remaining items. Now travel through the same route you used to get to Oreburgh and return to Jubilife City.

After you have an encounter with Looker upon entering the city who talks about the Pal Pad, head to the North exit and you'll see Professor Rowan and Lucas/Dawn being confronted by two Galactic Grunts who are demanding to know something from his research that he is refusing to say about. After threatening to get violent you'll team up with Lucas/Dawn in a tag battle to deal with these grunts.
Afterwards you'll learn it has to do with the Professors study on Pokémon evolution and the energy the Pokémon releases when it evolves, where although the Professor believes it's something beyond their control, Team Galactic seems interested in trying to harness it's power. After they leave, a person from Jubilife TV will come and give you the the Fashion Case as a reward for this amazing performance. Afterwards you can travel to the Pokétch Company and not only get an upgrade for your Pokétch from the company president, but you can get three more later in the game when you get three, five, and then seven badges respectfully. Anyway head through the north exit to Route 204.

From the entrance of the route, walk upwards, battling the Youngster and the two Lasses, until you reach a small cave, the Ravaged Path. Later in the game you can come back with Surf to get the Sea Incense that will allow you to produce a Azurill egg when you have a Marill or Azumarill hold onto it when breeding.

Enter the Ravaged Path Turn to the left and smash the rocks to gain TM39 (Rock Tomb). Move a few steps upward, then turn right. Use Rock Smash on the rocks, and then cross over the path and turn down to exit the cave. You arrive on the upper part of the Route 204. Comeback later after getting Surf and you can find both TM03 (Water Pulse) along with the Luck Incense that will allow you to produce a Happiny egg through breeding.

Upon entering the flower-filled route, turn left and take the flight of stairs. As you walk along the route, pick up an Awakening and TM09 (Bullet Seed). Walk through the grass patch and battle the Bug Catcher and the Twins. To battle the Twins, you must have two usable Pokémon. At the end of the route, after walking upwards on the small path, you arrive in Floaroma Town.
