4 4 is a dual-type 999/Normal Glitch Pokémon that is found in Pokémon Yellow. It occupies hexadecimal slot BF and has a Mew glitch stat of 191. However, if encountered in the wild the game will freeze and no action can be taken. The only ways to obtain this glitch are through GameShark and trading a A from Pokémon Red and Blue.
Biology
Ability
Since 4 4 has not been present in a game where abilities existed, its official in-game ability is currently unknown. However, if encountered in the wild using a GameShark, it will freeze the game until the game is reset.
Habitat
4 4 has no specific habitat because it was never programmed to be in a specific area, nor was it ever programmed for the player to find it. Since it only exists in Generation I, it must exist in the Kanto region. Its habitat is confirmed to exist in any location where a trainer in the Red/Blue/Yellow versions can be escaped from before being seen (see Mew glitch). Theoretically, it could also exist in some Glitch City-like location.
